SUMMER COMPETITION REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN!

The timing couldn’t be better - on the very day many of you have wrapped up your winter competition, our 2026/2027 Mildura Netball Association Summer Competition information is here!

Summer competition will run across Term 4, 2026 and Term 1, 2027, with teams competing in their 2027 age groups.

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE 10 OCTOBER 2026

Key dates and information:
• Summer Competition: Term 4, 2026 and Term 1, 2027
• Teams compete in their 2027 age groups
• Age determined as at 31 December 2027
• Teams must be registered on Netball Connect by 10 October 2026

Grab your mates and get a team together for our Social Ladies on a Wednesday night or Social Mixed Competition on a Monday night! 🙌

Nominate a team captain, rally your players and get registered for 7 weeks of fun, fitness and social netball — all wrapped up before the Christmas festivities! 🎄☀️

We’re excited to have the Netball Victoria merch team at the Mildura Spring Carnival on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th September!

They’ll have a range of Melbourne Vixens gear available to purchase, so make sure you pop by, check out the merch and pick up some great Vixens gear!

🏐 SUMMER COMPETITION UPDATE 🏐

We know there have been lots of questions about the upcoming Summer Competition, and we appreciate everyone’s patience.

We’re currently working through the final details and are hoping to have the full information available towards the end of this week.

There are, however, some details that are outside of our control, and we are still waiting on information and confirmation from other parties. Until we have everything confirmed, we don’t want to release information that may then need to change. We would much rather provide everyone with accurate and confirmed information from the outset.

In the meantime, while you’re waiting for the Summer Comp news, why not get organised for our Mildura Spring Carnival on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September 2026! 🏐

And especially Sunday… come along, say hello and grab a photo with SSN Champion Kate Eddy! 📸⭐

🏐 TERM 3 SOCIAL MIXED FINALS 🏐

This week also saw the completion of our Term 3 Social Mixed Competition – and what a night of netball it was!

The Division 1 Grand Final between Net Busters and VPNC Mixed Marvels was an absolute thriller. Scores were tied at the end of regular time, sending the match into overtime! After a fantastic display of high-quality netball from both teams, VPNC Mixed Marvels eventually pulled away to claim the win by three goals. A brilliant game that was certainly worthy of the draw at full time!

Congratulations to Dallas and Liam for winning best on court!

The Division 2 Grand Final between Court Ordered and Hotshots was another close contest, with Hotshots taking the win 28–24. Congratulations to Mia, who was named Best on Court for the match. 👏

Congratulations to all four teams on fantastic Grand Final performances, and thank you to everyone who joined us for another great Social Mixed season! 💙🏐
