The recent International Technical Seminar on May 1st was an enjoyable and rewarding in-person seminar with Grandmaster Low in Perth, Western Australia. During the one-day seminar he challenged us all to view the familiar with different eyes. Utilising foundational knowledge, including the secrets of Taekwon-Do and the theory of power we focused on transitions: in patterns, sparring and kicking techniques. We hope that participants were able to take away a different way of looking at familiar techniques and to develop their ability to see, examine and understand how to link one technique more efficiently to another. It was a great opportunity to dive deep into the finer technical details of patterns, which can now be applied to all other patterns, practical drills, and sparring. Thank you to all those who attended, for bringing your energy, enthusiasm, and your willingness to learn.

Best wishes are extended to GM Low Koon Lin, a Pioneer of Taekwon-Do, who celebrates his 95th birthday on13th April 2022.

A special message from his son GM Low Ming Tuck.

“Today I celebrate the life of my father, GM Low Koon Lin, who introduced me to Taekwon-Do at a young age. Taekwon-Do changed his life and in turn, changed mine. Taekwon-Do has enabled him to live a good life and sharing the legacy of General Choi with others, has been his life’s mission. Forever thankful for all he has done, both as my father and as a pioneer of Taekwon-Do in Malaysia.” GM Low Ming Tuck.
