💛 THIS THURSDAY — R U OK? DAY

We’re filling the hall with yellow — or even just a touch of yellow — as we come together to support one another. A simple “Are you OK?” can brighten someone’s day, and our dancers always bring the kindness, colour and connection that make this community special.

You’ll be learning from the most experienced line dance teachers in the Midland area — decades of knowledge, patience and passion guiding you every step.

📍 Swan Italian Sporting Club
⏰ Thursday 6.30pm – 9.00pm
Levels: Beginner • Improver • Intermediate
💲 $15 per adult • $6 per child
Meals available — make it a night filled with support, community and movement.

A gorgeous, relaxed Friday morning session perfect for beginners, returners and anyone who loves a warm, friendly space to dance.

Our Tuesday Power Hour has been working on the dance Choosin Texas for a little while
now and because I was unwell and Kerry taught the class again tonight I was able to watch. Wow what a group, they are nailing this dance now.

I am so glad we stuck with it and as absolute beginners/beginners we have so got this.

💛 WEEKLY WRAP — WHAT A HUGE WEEK FOR DANCERS UNITED.. THE CLASS WITH THE
VIBE AND FUN FACTOR

It’s been a massive week for DU and we couldn’t be prouder of our dancers, our team, and our community.

🟦 Tuesday — Power Hour Magic

Our Tuesday night class absolutely rocked as usual. Even with Debbie unable to speak, Kerry jumped straight in and taught the class like a champion — teamwork at its finest.

We danced favourites, kept the energy high, and next week we’ll more than likely add a brand‑new dance into the mix.

🟩 Team Practice — Final One for the Season
The last team practice for this comp season… yay.

Everyone gets a night at home before we reset and start fresh again. A well‑earned breather.

🟨 Thursday — Consistent, Energetic, Loved
Thursday brought its usual buzz. We appreciate every single dancer who shows up week after week — your commitment keeps DU thriving

This was the only class with a new dance this week: Turn This Town by Maddison Glover

🟦 Friday — WOW WOW WOW

Friday was something special.

A huge turnout, incredible energy, and a room full of dancers who make us feel truly blessed.
Totally awesome from start to finish.

❤️ Saturday — WA Showcase Competition & Workshops

Our annual WA Showcase was an absolute blockbuster.

18 of the biggest linedance clubs in WA joined us

147 dancers filled the competition floor

31 sponsors supported our sponsorship program including the Linedance Association of Australia and City of Swan Councillor Rashelle Predovnik

Together, we were able to make a donation to Cystic Fibrosis WA, and that’s something we’re incredibly proud of.

A huge day, a huge effort, and a huge success.

🌟 And Tomorrow… We Start Again

💛 THANK YOU, DANCERS UNITED – WA SHOWCASE 2026 💚

To our incredible dancers who represented Dancers United in the 2027 WA Showcase in solos, duos, and teams. I want to say the biggest, proudest thank you.

You put in the hard yards. You trained, practiced, pushed, and showed up with courage, and heart.

And on the day you danced beautifully.

Watching you out there confident, smiling, giving it everything made me prouder than words can express. You represented our club with strength and the kind of spirit that makes Dancers United what it is.

Every step, every rehearsal, every moment on that floor reflected your dedication. I couldn’t be prouder of this group.

💛 United We Dance — and you showed exactly what that means.

Thank you for being part of this journey and for shining so brightly for our club.

Where our four teams meet and dance together in the Just For Fun at the end of a great day for Dancers United.

I was so proud of all these ladies, young adults and our young man representing our club, we can’t ask for better people to danced us. Somehow the puppy made the cut as well 😂
