At 80 Gay works harder, faster and lifts heavier than most teens round here!
Ever noticed the floor looking spotless? That's Gay.
No cobwebs in the barn?
That's Gay.
No spiders in the helmets and boots?
That's Gay.
My horse's tail?
That's Gay.
Fridge full of carrots?
That's Gay.
The sheep not bleating at you .. Gay.
I can't remember a time in my life without Gay in it. She's a powerhouse and I am in awe of her dedication to the horses and to me and her endless energy. I'm eternally thankful. Her compassion to the animals and her loyalty to her loved ones is unmatched.
Gay comes up twice a week to keep my life in check, to make sure the stables are ordered and tidy, to keep the farrier in line 😜, and to occasionally fill in as a surrogate grandmother when Tilly's are on holiday.
I am so grateful that you're part of our lives and know you will be for many years to come!
