One Big Saturday. We would like to congratulate our U17girls and Women's teams on securing their positions in the Preliminary Finals. We encourage everyone to come and support our champions.

Hi WACFA families,

We are almost there! As we head into our WACFA Closing Ceremony next Saturday, 12th September at Ashfield Reserve, please take a moment to read through the important information below.

Please see the attached Closing Ceremony flyer and Pitch Map (in comments) for the key details and timings for the morning.

Ceremony & Awards
Clubs are asked to be ready for a prompt 10:15am Club Parade, with volunteers on hand to assist clubs into their parade positions. During the ceremony we will also be presenting the U13 & U14 League Trophies as we celebrate another fantastic season together. League Winners and Best & Fairest awards will be announced next week once every competition has been completed and finalised.

Family Fun
From 9:00am–12:00pm there will be a Bouncy Castle and Jungle Obstacle Course available for children to enjoy. While these activities will be supervised by volunteers, we encourage parents to remain close by as we are expecting large numbers of families throughout the morning.

Food & Drinks
The Ashfield Soccer Club canteen will be open throughout the morning with food and drinks available for purchase, including a sausage sizzle. A coffee van will be serving from 7:30am, and an ice cream truck will be on site from 9:00am–12:00pm.

Fixtures are live on SQUADI.

We can't wait to celebrate the season with all of our players, coaches and families. Thank you for making 2026 such a special year, and we'll see you at Ashfield Reserve next Saturday!

We have observed exceptional teamwork and dedication from players, coaches, managers, and parents. Our sincere gratitude extends to all volunteers both on and off the field of play. May you all be abundantly blessed.

We invite you to join us in celebrating our club's successful season at this year's Club Celebration on September 17, 2026.

Engaging games, team huddles, and jumping castle activities will commence at 4:15 PM at Jack Mann Oval.

A brief Annual General Meeting will be conducted in the club room shortly after the celebration concludes.

We’re excited to come together and celebrate the 2026 WACFA season at our Closing Ceremony! 🏆

There’s plenty happening on the day, with Mini Roos competitions from 8:30am, followed by our Club March and Closing Ceremony

The Car Ride Home – FREE Webinar 🚨

Following the outstanding feedback from The Car Ride Home workshops delivered by A Stitch in Time at Rockingham City Football Club, Swan United FC and Whitford City FC, we’re bringing the session online to close out our mental health workshop series for this season 🖥️

The Car Ride Home explores the importance of the conversations we have with young players after games and training. Participants will gain an understanding of how language and behaviour can impact a child’s wellbeing, confidence and enjoyment of sport, while learning practical strategies to create positive and supportive environments!
