Merrifield Panthers Football club is hosting the the shaka project. on Thursday night @ Merrifield Recreation Reserve.

This is open to ALL Merrifield Panthers sporting clubs' members, families and friends, male and female. With the raw and honest content of the session, we advise all attendees to be 14+.

The workshop will begin at 7:00pm, with a sausage sizzle & soft drinks available beforehand. Please arrive by 6:45 to allow the session to start on time.

The Shaka Project has been delivering workshops to Sports Clubs all over Australia. Thier focus is on education, de-stigmatisation, and the encouragement of seeking support and looking after your mates. Their raw & open approach to Mental Health & Su***de Awareness is something they take great pride in to continuing to ignite the conversation.

Due to an overwhelming response to our U10's program, we will be looking at fielding a second team for this upcoming season.

Become a part of one of the fastest growing clubs in the area, welcoming both girls and boys.

The Broadmeadows Police Station are working hard to raise funds for Movember this year and are looking to community groups for assistance to our Hume Heroes Movember charity drive. We’ve ticked over 8.5K and looking to get to 10K for this great cause. The boys ran a marathon from the Police Academy in Glen Waverley to the Broadmeadows police station on Thursday and we have a final push until the cut off on 12 December to raise as much as we can for men’s health initiatives. Every donation is massively important and appreciated. All come with an emailed receipt and are tax deductible.

Movember, the month formerly known as November, is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health.
