We’ve had a small change to our guest speaker lineup, with two speakers unfortunately needing to withdraw due to other commitments.
The good news… we’ve secured the one and only Paul Vautin to join us!
This event is shaping up to be a fantastic afternoon filled with laughs, stories, and great company with some of rugby league’s great personalities.

A huge thank you to all our incredible volunteers who gave up their time last night and today — our club simply wouldn't exist without you. 🙌

A special shoutout to Jonathan and Bryce from the 15s Div 1, and David from 16s Div 1, who stepped up to timekeep today. Love seeing the young ones get involved and give back — legends! ⭐

Big thanks also to everyone who completed the Grounds Manager course this week and jumped straight in to help out.

But most of all — thank you to our entire Burleigh Bears Juniors community for coming together. Days like today remind us why we love this club. 🏉❤️.

INFORMATION NIGHT — managing injuries in junior rugby league

The Burleigh Bears Juniors are teaming up with our sponsor Burleigh Central Physiotherapy to bring parents, coaches and support staff a free info session built around something every footy family deals with at some point: injuries.

Whether your junior has just rolled an ankle at training or you're trying to work out if that ni**le is something more serious, this session will give you simple, practical tools to feel confident managing it.

What we'll cover:
The challenges around medical management in junior rugby league
A simple guide to acute vs sub-acute injuries (and why it matters)
The red flags every parent and coach should know
How the Burleigh Bears medical team supports our juniors — from initial assessment, through rehab, all the way to a safe return to sport and performance
