🏆 51st Burleigh Cup 🏆

A big congratulations to our 2026 Burleigh Cup champions, Payton Hayward and Emily Wei!

Payton claimed the Men’s Burleigh Cup with rounds of 70 and 74 for a 144 total, while Emily secured the Women’s Burleigh Cup with rounds of 75 and 73 for a 148 total.

Conditions were certainly challenging out there today, making both performances all the more impressive. Well played to everyone who took on the course and competed in this year’s event.

Thank you to all of our participants for supporting the 51st playing of the Burleigh Cup and helping make it another great day at Burleigh Golf Club.

What a fantastic day of golf on Sunday, 9 August, with 72 players taking part in our 27 hole Mixed Foursomes Championship!

Congratulations to our 2026 Mixed Foursomes Champions, Summer Sadler & Braden Adamson, who claimed the title with a total of 115. 👏

🥈 Runners up: Janet Rayner & Callum Agius, 121

In the Nett event, congratulations to Mark Wilson & Sharon Vendy, who took the honours with a fantastic total of 103.

🥈 Nett runners up: Vivienne Parkes & Eden Delahunty, 104.5

It was great to see such a strong field and plenty of quality golf throughout the day.

A couple of unexpected helpers on the 12th! 🌿⛳️

Our wonderful course volunteers were out early this morning, putting in some great work around the wasteland area on the 12th hole, when they had a couple of very curious visitors drop by.

These two kookaburras seemed more than happy to supervise proceedings, and certainly weren’t shy about getting close to the action! 😄

A lovely little moment that captures what makes mornings out on the course so special. A huge thank you to our volunteers for the time, effort and care they continue to put into keeping Burleigh Golf Club looking its best.

And thanks to our two feathered friends for keeping everyone company! 🐦🐦

A huge congratulations to Burleigh member Zion Wagner, who has taken out the 18 Hole Gross at the 2026 Lismore Junior Open today! 👏
Zion fired an impressive 71 to claim the win by one shot. A fantastic result and another great achievement for one of our Burleigh juniors.

Well done, Zion! Everyone at Burleigh Golf Club is very proud to see you representing the Club so well. 💚⛳

⛳ The 51st Burleigh Cup is almost here!

One of the club's most prestigious events returns on Sunday 16th August 2026, and it's a big one. This 36 hole Queensland Order of Merit event will see some of the state's best amateur golfers take on our course across two shotgun starts at 6:50am and 12:10pm.

It's a mixed gender event, open to players with a GA handicap of 6.4 or under.

Entry is $85 per player, or just $40 for Burleigh members, and includes a light lunch. Entries close Wednesday 12th August, so don't leave it too late!

Start your weekend with an evening of live entertainment as Joseph Brown performs at the Club from 4:45pm to 7:45pm.

Along with the members draw and raffles, our kitchen will be serving a great selection of dinner specials:

• Truffled mushroom arancini with aioli and parmesan
• Chargrilled king prawns with jalapeño and garlic butter
• Chicken parmigiana, available as classic, Steuten’s Outback or katsu curry
• Fresh barramundi, beer battered and served with chips, salad and tartare sauce

A little rain overnight was not quite what we were hoping for on the eve of the Pro-Am, especially after an exceptionally wet six months. But every cloud has a silver lining, and this morning’s rainbow certainly put on a great show over the course. 🌈⛳️🤩
