Merrylands Soccer Football Club

Merrylands Soccer Football Club Merrylands Soccer Football Club started in 1972 by the founding member Joe Grubba. The club now has over 700 members and it is still growing.

Merrylands SFC continues to provide facilities for the youth of Merrylands to learn and enjoy soccer.

A shout out to our Merrylands SFC U6's U7's & U8's teams that participated today in the Westfield SD FC Gala Day, held at Westfields Sports High School in Fairfield.

Each age group featured teams from the following clubs:
• SD Raiders
• Sydney United / Futboltec
• Westfields Sports Football Club
• Merrylands SFC

Playing five matches with great enthusiasm, sportsmanship & effort throughout the day. Most importantly, all players thoroughly enjoyed the experience & opportunity in testing themselves against quality opposition from different clubs.

Results:
• U6 – 2 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses
• U7 – 1 win, 1 draw, 3 losses
• U8 – 4 wins, 0 draws, 1 loss

Overall, it was a fantastic day and a valuable learning experience for all players involved. The teams represented Merrylands SFC exceptionally well both on and off the field.
