Hi everyone.
Sensei Mae and I are calling time (for now) on Phoenix Karate and Self Defence.
I'm sure youll all be surprised to hear that the past couple of years have seen significant challenges. :-)
We'd like to thank everyone who has been involved over the years. It's been a great journey.
Who knows what the future holds but for now, we'll be letting the Phoenix rest.

Hi everyone,
Sensei Mae and I have decided that we will not be running classes for terms 1 and 2 this year.
With ongoing community concerns due to Covid, and our own hectic commitments, we will be unable to give it the energy it needs.
We WILL be back. Just not yet.

Hi everyone. Due to the last couple of terms being stop/start and given that term 4 is likely to be similar, we've decided to cancel term 4 and let our world get back on track before starting fresh in 2022.

Hey guys,

Unfortunately with lockdown 4.0, we obviously can not train. However, that doesn't mean we cant practice at home.

Look through your books, watch and follow on with the kata videos and practice your terminology.

We're still here, so feel free to give us a call if you want a chat or to ask us a question.

Good to see the crew back training on Wednesday night.
We're all still dusting off the cobwebs and reminding our muscles what goes where and when :-)
Plenty of spaces left on the nats on both Mondays and Wednesdays.

She is perfect and can already make a decent fist- with the thumb on the outside!! 😉😁😄

Good afternoon everybody!

Again I apologise for not posting sooner, 36 week pregnancy is getting to me ha! 😅

As I'm sure you are all aware, we are back in lockdown. Unfortunately (and obviously), this means that classes will not be returning for Term 3.

Please keep in mind that our videos are still available, we are still contactable via Facebook and messaging and your books are still with in your grasp for reference.

Please do keep practicing, and keep on track and please do stay safe.
