Loved having my daughter join today’s mat Pilates session. Watching her move, focus and have fun on the mat made my whole morning.

She’s about to head off snowboarding, and honestly, Pilates is one of the best things she could be doing right now.
Snowboarding demands:

• Hip mobility for turns
• Core strength for balance
• Ankles + knees that can stabilise quickly
• Good flexibility to reduce strain when you fall (because we all fall)

Pilates supports all of that — and helps minimise the chance of injury on the slopes.

Friday 8/5 6am and
Sunday 10/5 8am

While I am in Brisbane competing.

Please book in early (https://mt4upilates.as.me/schedule.php) - the Sunday walk ins are still fine. She is briefed on the low down. But please also help her out if she feels a bit stuck. As it is her 1st times set up at the venue.

Even though Sox did his absolute best to keep me captive this week, we still made it through another great week of improving mobility, moving with intention, and practising the kind of control Joseph Pilates would be proud of.

From classes in the studio to the little moments at home where the cat decides you’re not going anywhere, it all counts. Consistency over perfection every time.

And a quick reminder — we do have grip socks available for purchase in‑venue, so if you need a fresh pair for class, you’re all set.

Here’s to another week of movement, progress, and the occasional furry interruption. And a new move that we will be trying soon with the foam roller that looks awesome.

Weve had a great week at the venues this week with everyone continuing to make that time for them.

I have also been busy adding the blog section to our website which I will continue to develop and sharing details on movement and on the benefits and history of our amazing sport.
