💙🤍 BRYCE KERNEY IS BACK FOR 2027! 🤍💙

Bryce has become a really important part of the Panthers, and we’re stoked to have him back in the blue and white for another season. 🐾

He’s the kind of player who brings plenty of energy, works hard for his teammates and isn’t afraid to put himself in the contest. Bryce also had a strong 2026.

There’s plenty more to come from Bryce, and we can’t wait to see what he brings in 2027.

💙🤍 2027 U17s FOOTBALL COACHES ANNOUNCEMENT 🤍💙

Melton South Junior Football & Netball Club is thrilled to announce Bryce Kerney and Lachie Pritchard as our Co-Coaches of the U17s Football team for the 2027 season! 🏉

We are extremely excited to have both of these young men taking on the role. Bryce and Lachie are both current senior players at the Panthers and know firsthand what it takes to make the transition from junior football into the senior ranks.

🔵 BRYCE KERNEY

Bryce started his junior football at Melton Bloods before moving to Bacchus Marsh during COVID, where he went on to make his senior debut at just 17 years of age.

Bryce also finished runner-up in the league Best & Fairest in the U19s, showing the talent and commitment he has brought to his football throughout his career.

⚪ LACHIE PRITCHARD

Lachie played his junior football at Eynesbury until 2018 before making the move to the Panthers.

Lachie has enjoyed an outstanding football career, winning 3 premierships — 1 at Eynesbury and 2 with the Panthers. He has also won 2 league Best & Fairest awards and finished runner-up once.

Lachie is currently also involved with Port Melbourne VFL as a Development Player, continuing to develop his football at a high level.

Both Bryce and Lachie are permanent members of our senior club, and we strongly believe they are the perfect people to guide our U17 players as they prepare for the next step in their football journey.

Their goal will be to help develop our young players, prepare them for senior football and implement the same brand of football played by our senior teams. 🏉

💙🤍 JARROD BIBBY IS BACK FOR 2027! 🤍💙

Jarrod has been a big part of the Panthers over the past few seasons and we’re stoked to have him back in the blue and white for another year. 🐾

One of those players you can throw into pretty much any position and know he’ll find a way to have an impact on the game. His versatility makes him a really valuable part of the side.

Looking forward to seeing Jarrod continue to build in 2027!

💙🤍 BRODEN COLLINS IS BACK FOR 2027! 🤍💙

We’re thrilled to announce that our captain, Broden Collins, has recommitted to the Melton South Panthers for 2027! 🐾

A powerful presence around the ground, Broden has continued to be one of the competition’s standout ruckmen. His numbers speak for themselves, including a huge 73 hit-outs and 24 disposals in one of his standout performances.

Broden has also consistently featured among the league’s leading ruckman.

His leadership, competitiveness and ability to influence games from the middle make him a massive part of what we’re building at the Panthers.

💙🤍 2027 SENIOR PLAYING COACH | BLAKE SOUTER

We’re incredibly proud to announce the appointment of Blake Souter as our Senior Playing Coach for 2027! 🐾

Blake brings a wealth of playing experience and leadership to the Panthers, including two premierships and a Best on Ground performance in a Grand Final victory.

Having already made his mark in the blue and white, Blake’s knowledge of the game, high standards and winning experience will be invaluable as we continue to build on the foundations of our football program.

Stepping into the Senior Playing Coach role, Blake is looking forward to the challenge ahead and the opportunity to take everything he has learnt throughout his playing career into coaching.

Blake has been fortunate to have some great mentors throughout his football journey, particularly over the past few years, and is excited to take the knowledge, guidance and lessons he has received from those around him and pass them on to the next generation of Panthers.

Blake is excited for 2027 and the challenge ahead, and we can’t wait to see what’s to follow. 💙🤍

The coaching structure around Blake will continue to take shape, with assistant coaches and the wider coaching team to be announced at a later date.

For now, we’re excited to welcome Blake into the role and look forward to seeing this next chapter unfold.

Melton South Football Netball Club would like to sincerely thank Travis Hodgson for his outstanding three years as Senior Football Coach. Travis has shown incredible dedication, leadership and commitment to our players, club and community throughout his time at the Panthers. His impact extends far beyond the football field, and he has helped shape the culture of our senior club. Players, supporters and fans will all greatly miss Travis. We wish him all the very best for the future.
