I'm doing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days as part of The Push-Up Challenge - Australia to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
This target represents the 3,307 people who died by su***de in Australia in 2024 (the most recent stats).

IL Shim Taekwon-Do Stawell has been given an incredible opportunity to take our students to China to compete in an International Taekwon-Do Tournament on 14 & 15 August 2026.
For many of our students, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to represent not only our club and local community, but also Australia on the international stage.

Our students train hard every week, showing dedication, discipline, perseverance, and respect — values that Taekwon-Do teaches both on and off the mats. Competing internationally will allow them to challenge themselves against competitors from around the world, gain invaluable experience, and create lifelong memories.

Why We Need Your Support

Travelling internationally for a tournament is a huge financial commitment for our families. Funds raised will help cover:

International flights

Accommodation

Tournament entry fees

Team uniforms and equipment

Transport and travel expenses

WOMEN'S SELF-DEFENSE
Empower yourself with the skills to recognise, defuse and remove yourself from dangerous situations in this 1-hour self-defence series for women.

Led by Harmonious Dojang Australia , the class will start with a warmup and introductions to help you feel settled in. You will then learn practical strategies to recognise and avoid danger, along with basic physical self-defence techniques to help you feel more confident and secure.

Volume on!
Tonight was fantastic to watch as our higher ranking students buddied up with our white belts to help guide them through their training under the watchful eye of Sabum.

There’s something special about seeing knowledge, encouragement, and experience being passed down through the ranks. Not only did our white belts learn valuable skills, but our senior students grew as leaders and martial artists as well.

As we always say — to teach is to learn.
