Hi everyone! 👋

Just a reminder that if your athlete would like to join in at training tomorrow night, they must be fully registered by 2pm tomorrow.

Also, please remember that parents must be present and visible at all times during training. 😊

🧡🖤🤍 WE NEED A TREASURER!

Behind every great little athletics club is a team of volunteers making it all happen and we’re looking for someone to join our committee as Treasurer.

You definitely don’t need to be an accountant! 😂
If you’re organised, reasonably comfortable with numbers and happy to lend a hand, we’d love to hear from you.

Our committee is made up of parents who volunteer their time because they want to see our athletes and our club continue to grow. There’s plenty of support available, so you won’t be thrown in the deep end.

If you’ve ever thought “I could probably help with that” this could be your chance! 🙌

🧡 MCLA ATHLETICS SHOE DRIVE 🖤🤍

With the new athletics season approaching, we’d love to start a shoe exchange within the MCLA community.

Have athletics shoes sitting at home that your athlete has outgrown but are still in good condition? Or perhaps you’ve bought a pair that never got used?

We’re looking for:
👟 Waffles / running shoes
👟 Spikes
👟 Throwing shoes
👟 Other athletics-specific shoes

NEW OR GOOD USED CONDITION WELCOME!

And most importantly…

👉 If your athlete needs a pair, please take them. No questions asked. No judgement. No explanation needed.

We want to make sure every athlete has the opportunity to get out there and compete without the cost of shoes becoming a barrier.

You can drop off shoes you no longer need and/or take a pair that suits your athlete. It’s simply about looking after each other and keeping good shoes in use. 🧡🖤🤍

More details on where and when to drop off/collect will be posted soon.
