We teach classical ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, acrobatics, drama and singing to students from 1 year old through to adults. Whether your child is walking into their first preschool dance class or training seriously for exams and eisteddfods, there is a class here for them. Our JumpPAbility program delivers inclusive dance classes for students with disability and additional needs, so no child sits on the sidelines.

Have you ever wondered what we do in our Mini Acro classes?🤸

This is a real look inside our Mini Acro class. Warm up games, forward rolls, handstand bridges, cartwheels and so much more. Our little ones build strength, balance and confidence one skill at a time.

Mini Acro is perfect for kids aged 3 to 6. No experience needed, just bring their energy and we do the rest.

JumpPA is performing at the Granny Smith Festival!

Mark your calendars! The Jump Performing Arts dancers are proud to perform at the Granny Smith Festival on Saturday 17th October.

This festival is one of the biggest community events in the area. Every year, thousands of local families come together to celebrate. And this year, our JumpPA dancers get to be part of it.

We love giving our students real opportunities to shine. Performing at a big community event like this helps our dancers build confidence on stage, in front of a real crowd. It also shows them what it means to be part of something bigger than the dance studio.

JumpPA has proudly served the Melrose Park and North Rocks communities for years and soon Meadowbank!

We believe dance should be for everyone, no matter their age or ability. Being at the Granny Smith Festival is our way of saying thank you to the community that has supported us.

Come along and cheer on our JumpPA dancers! We can’t wait to show you what our students have been working on.

Did you know dance is a team activity??

When kids dance together, they learn to move as one. They learn to trust the dancer next to them. They learn what happens when everyone pulls their weight, and what happens when someone doesn’t show up for the group.

These are the same skills children need in the classroom, on sports teams, and one day at work. Dance just teaches it through rhythm and connection instead of a lecture.

Here’s what your child is really building in every class:

🌟 Teamwork — matching timing and spacing with their classmates
🌟 Communication — reading a partner’s cues without words
🌟 Problem solving — figuring out a formation change on the spot
🌟 Confidence — being seen and supported by a group
🌟 Resilience — trying again when a routine doesn’t click right away

The younger kids are learning to share space and take turns. The older ones are learning to lead, mentor, and rely on each other under pressure. Same lesson, different level.

Bit by bit our Meadowbank dance studio is coming together. Take a look behind-the-scenes at how our new studio location, in the Shepard’s Bay Village, is taking shape 🔨

A little update… 💛

Turns out installing a professional dance floor takes a little longer than convincing a toddler to wear socks. 😅

Our flooring supplier has experienced some unexpected delays, so we’re giving our new Meadowbank studio a little extra time to make sure it’s finished properly and, most importantly, safe for every little dancer.

Because of this, our Open Day has been moved to Saturday, 15 August.

We’re just as excited as you are, and while we know waiting isn’t fun, it’ll be worth it. We can’t wait to welcome you into a beautiful new space that’s ready for dancing, laughter, and lots of confidence-building.

A huge congratulations to our amazing student teacher, Miss Jess, who won the National DanceStep Leadership Award for Initiative on Sunday in Perth 🌟

Jess attended the DanceStep Leadership Summit with Miss Lisa and Miss Ashleigh where she heard from different speakers and met student teachers from across Australia.

Jess is a student teacher for our North Rocks preschool and primary classes and has taught classes at our holiday workshops at our Melrose Park studio.

We are so proud of Jess and all her efforts guiding our young students as well as her peers and love seeing her confidence grow while becoming a leader at JumpPA ❤️
