Round 1 is finally here this Friday and Saturday – exciting times ahead as we kick off the 2026 State League season! We are wishing all teams the very best for the first rounds.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT- First PREMIER WOMENS GAME, It’s a big moment for the club as it’s our first ever year in the Premier division.
They’re on at 4:30pm at Monash University, Wellington Rd, Clayton.

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT‼️‼️‼️

We are incredibly proud to share that we have been offered our very first Premier License (Women’s Program). We are truly humbled and grateful for this opportunity.

We give all glory to God. This journey has been a roller coaster, but one we are extremely proud of. This milestone will allow us to continue growing and strengthening our women’s and girls’ programs.

In addition, we are especially excited for our junior girls, who will now have older athletes to look up to and aspire to become premier players themselves.

A heartfelt thank you to Volleyball Victoria for this opportunity and we can’t wait to see the growth for the new 2026 state league season.

We are delighted to introduce our very first international coach, Sergi López Maymó, to the Carrum Downs Royals family. Hailing from Barcelona, Spain, Sergi brings with him 15 years of professional coaching and competitive experience overseas, complemented by his expertise in psychology. His arrival marks a significant milestone in our club’s journey, providing a substantial boost to the development of our athletes and coaching staff alike.

Sergi will be instrumental in elevating our Men’s and Women’s programs, with a special focus on strengthening our Women’s team, while also supporting the growth of our junior players and coaches across all age groups.

What a year we have had as we now prepare for 2026. We congratulate our winners for season 2025. We close another chapter of our clubs history & look forward to a bigger and better year ahead.

Everyone played a big part in our successes and all our athletes efforts this year was tremendous.

Though we did not take home a Gold medal this year, the real Gold is the spirit we share as one club, one family—the Royal Family. This is what truly matters.
