Sporting Schools provides a fantastic opportunity for students to access sports delivered by experienced coaches they may not otherwise have access to.

The Pinch Hitter specialises in delivering Tee-Ball and Softball Sporting Schools Programs to schools.

Culture is the heartbeat of every sports club because it shapes how people connect, behave, and grow together. A strong culture creates clarity around values like respect, effort, and teamwork, giving everyone a shared sense of purpose. It also builds belonging — when athletes, coaches, and families feel welcomed and supported, they’re more likely to stay engaged and contribute. Culture influences performance too, because players thrive in environments where learning, accountability, and positivity are the norm. Most importantly, a healthy culture strengthens long‑term sustainability by attracting and retaining committed members and volunteers who believe in what the club stands for.

This week SALT launched its Positive Sports Parenting program to help parents and clubs support juniors build confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of sport. We believe that ingraining positive parenting into your clubs culture is vitally important.
