FLOURLESS POPPYSEED CAKE if you have unique taste buds.
1/2 litre milk. 1/2kilo ground poppyseed, 1/2cup castor sugar or to taste, 1/2 cup sultanas soaked in brandy overnight, 8 eggs separated.
Bring milk to boil, add poppyseeds and sugar, stir until the milk is soaked up, Take off heat, add sultanas and the brandy and let cool.
Add egg yolks to cooled mixture. Beat the whites until soft peaks form and slowly stir into mixture.
Pour into greased baking tray and bake at 180,deg,electric oven for 40 mins. or until knife comes out clean.
