Wow! What an absolutely amazing experience our Fit for Life crew had today! 🐨 🦘We spent our day at Moonlit sanctuary. On arrival we enjoyed our lunch in picnic area, we had fresh sandwhiches, sausage rolls, pies and sushi.

We were lucky enough to have a Koala encounter. Each of our participants were able to have 1:1 time with the gorgeous koala and give her a pat, she was so soft!

After our Koala encounter we enjoyed a mammal show which was awesome! After the show we walked around the sanctuary learning different facts about our native wildlife and of course feeding kangaroos, wallabies and ducks a long our way.

We also enjoyed several talks about dingoes, owls, Echidnas and Tasmanian devils.

Overall a fabulous day out creating memories to cherish 📷

Wow what an incredible day out with our fit for life crew!

KOOZA Cirque du Soleil at its purest: a joyous fusion of humour, heart, and high-risk performance. It honours the traditions of classic circus while elevating them with theatrical storytelling, world-class artistry.

We were all absolutely amazed! We will definitely be returning!

Today was an absolute BLAST 💥 with our Fit for Life Crew 🌟

First stop was lunch at Highett RSL, our meals were delicious 😋

We spent the rest of our afternoon at Sensas which was a fun and interactive game room challenge! The challenges have given our participants a sense of achievement and it was a fantastic team building experience! From taste, smell, touch and hearing, the ball pit was definitely a highlight!

We split up into 2 groups to compete against each other and it was a draw!

Wow! What a super fun day with our Fit for Life crew in Yarra valley - A perfect way to escape the cold!

On arrival, we enjoyed our lunch at The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie cafe.

After lunch participated in a taste and create Rocky Road workshop. We tried all different flavours of chocolate and learnt different processes how the chocolate was made and step by step how to make rocky road to take home.

After our workshop we explored the show room and took in the beautiful views of the valley.

Overall a fabulous road trip and day out 🤩

From the AFL to Supercars our Fit for Life Participants had an amazing time over respite. Bonding over there love for football and cars. Respite is beneficial for not only our participants with growing their independence but also giving their caretakers a much needed break.

Today has been a fun day out with our Fit for Life Crew.

First stop was lunch at Tai Wah Chinese, all meals were delicious. We also celebrated a birthday, happy birthday Shannon!

We spent the rest of the afternoon at The Melbourne Arts Centre where we will saw the dance performance- Love Lock For Ever and Ever - A stunning exposition of colour movement and music, it felt like we stumbled into a music video. All the dancers were very talented.

Overall a lovely day to get together and stay out of the cold.

Today our Fit For Life Crew had a super fabulous day out. 🎉

First stop was a 2 course meal at Rosebud RSL - All the meals were Delicious 😋

After lunch we had a FANTASTIC time at The Top Fun Shack. We were lucky enough to be able to hire the whole entire venue to ourselves and had a game of bowling and of course the skill testing / Arcade Games! Lots of prizes were won such as key rings, soccer balls and super cute toys!

Overall a super FUN day out ⭐️

What an inspiration 🏆

When Graeme came to Fit for Life he had spent time in a wheelchair and could barely walk. Graeme relied on his walker and scooter. Since training with our team of trainers, Exercise Physiologist, Kenan & Rob, Graeme can confidently walk with his cane and even achieved going to the beach which was a dream of his due to sand he thought it would be impossible and on an African safari 🦁🐘. Graeme was set an “impossible” goal of walking 2 million steps in a year which he achieved (2,052,476) which classified him as top 5% worldwide for his age group on the exercise app, pacer.

During this time, he also achieved many other gym goals including
- level 15 on the leg press for 15 reps
- 400m in 2.5mins on the rower
- rowing continuously for 5mins on the rower
- 800m in 5mins on the rower
- 2.5km on the bike in 5mins
- Being able to use the cross trainer continuosly for 3 minutes

We are super proud of Graeme’s achievements and celebrated with a trophy. Keep up the amazing work!

Our Fit for Life crew had a fantastic time yesterday! We ran both an activity and respite!

We attended the unmarked car show, we loved exploring the venue and seeing a range of cars such as rare muscle cars, super cars and the f1 red bull cars. We also had the opportunity to try out the sim racer set up at Sandown race track.

Our respite we stayed in our own private rainforest.

A fabulous day and time away.
