📅 The 2026/27 Sandbelt Championship Events Calendar is officially here! 🏆

Get ready—entries will open via BowlsLink on Friday, August 7th, 2026.

Here is what you need to know about this season’s schedule:

🗓️ A Flexible Calendar: To work around the jam-packed Bowls Australia and Bowls Victoria programs, the Committee has proposed all available dates. Please note that the final dates used will depend on the number of entries we receive.

🏆 Champion of Champions (March 2027): To give clubs ample time to complete their own club championships, Day 1 is scheduled on the same day as the BV Pennant Divisional Finals. In event of playing in the Divisional Final, protection can be requested under the BV State Championships Conditions of Play.

Congratulations Steve Nicoll & John Grundy! 🎉

Today we proudly recognised Steve Nicoll and John Grundy with Life Membership at Coatesville Bowling Club.

This is a thoroughly deserved honour, recognising many years of outstanding dedication, commitment, volunteer service and passion for our club. Both Steve and John have made an enormous contribution on and off the green, helping shape Coatesville Bowling Club into the wonderful club it is today.

Thank you both for your Contribution to our Club.

Congratulations to all of our winners and runners-up on your outstanding achievements throughout the season. Your dedication, sportsmanship and commitment to our club are something to be proud of.

VALE: John (skewsy) Skewis

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our much-loved Lawn Bowls member, John “Skewsy” Skewis, on Friday 22nd May 2026.

Skewsy was a valued and cherished member of our club, whose friendship, warmth, humour, and love of lawn bowls touched so many of us. He was more than just a teammate — he was a friend, a familiar face, and an important part of our club family.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with John's wife Flora, family and loved ones during this very difficult time.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and fondly remembered both on and off the green.

Rest peacefully, Skewsy. 💙
