We're thrilled to announce our senior leaders for the 2026/27 season! 👏

Brendo takes the reins from Stewie who led brilliantly last year, but has now departed the club, and he'll be supported by Chop who has taken up the vice-captaincy.

Both of these boys have been HCCC stalwarts since the start of their cricketing journey and there's no doubt they'll play a huge role in what we hope is a very successful Quiney Shield campaign this summer!

HCCC are excited to announce that Ryan MacMillan has been appointed as Junior Club Coach for the 2026/27 season!

Ryan began his cricket journey as a Junior at Hampton Centrals, progressing through the ranks to senior cricket, where he now plays in our 1st XI. In recent years, he has both played and then coached in SECA Underage Representative Cricket and will be coaching again this year.

In his new role, Ryan will play an important part in driving development across all age groups, attending sessions both pre-season and throughout the season.

Be sure to say hello and introduce yourself to Ryan when you see him around the club. We’re excited to have him on board and can’t wait to see the impact he’ll have across our junior program.

VALE Wendy Clark

It is with deep regret we report the passing of Wendy Clark.

As a Life Member and the wife of Clyde, one of our longest serving Presidents, Wendy was much more than a familiar face around the Club. She was a wonderful supporter, a valued friend, and a person whose warmth and kindness touched so many lives.

On behalf of everyone at the Club, we extend our sincere condolences to Clyde, Tim, Craig, Nicole and family at this most difficult time.

A service to celebrate the life of Wendy will be held at White Lady Funeral Home, 139 Marriage Road Brighton East, on Thursday, 16 July 2026, commencing at 10am.

Sam McColl wins Bowling Aggregate Award across U12C.

Sam McColl has capped off an impressive season by winning the Bowling Aggregate Award across all U12C competitions - A great effort with the change in format from last season.

Sam finished up with 14 wickets during the home-and-away season!

Congratulations to Sam on an exceptional season and a fantastic achievement!

Henry Hartnett Wins Bowling Aggregate Award across U12B.

Henry Hartnett has capped off an impressive season by winning the Bowling Aggregate Award across all U12B competitions—a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and growth. Determined to improve, Henry put in the hard work during the pre-season, training with multiple coaches and mentors to refine his skills.

His efforts paid off, taking 13 wickets during the home-and-away season. Henry also delivered when it mattered most, claiming 2 crucial wickets in the Grand Final to help secure the premiership for his team.

Congratulations to Henry on an exceptional season and a fantastic achievement!

Well done to our Under 14B Girls Team on a fantastic season!!

Following an early merge with Brighton Cricket Club, the combined team performed well all season and was wholeheartedly deserving of a Grand Final vs Aspendale CC.

The Grand Final, played at Aspendale on a hot and windy Wednesday last week, was a close battle. Our team batted first and after some early wickets did well to consolidate and post a competitive 7/103 in 20 overs. Wonderful to see Paige Ward the backbone of the team put in her best batting effort ever, top scoring and making a valuable 21 not out.

After some early runs from Aspendale our girls tightened the game right up, with some pressure bowling and fielding. Key here, was Tessa da Silveira 2 overs 0/5 and Ruby Smith 4 overs 1/11. Unfortunately, Aspendale were just able to sneak past our score in the last over.

Again, a wonderful season that saw all our girls contribute, improve their skills and have a very competitive season. Key to that was again their very positive outlook, team camaraderie, and great support from the parent group.

Special thanks to Natalie Paszko (Ward) for doing an amazing job as Team Manager and to Sophie Barber and Kim Teschendorff for their excellent coaching throughout the season.

Congratulations girls, many great cricket moments await you!!
