Happy new years to all. Last skate of 2022. Alice had a strong first half of year, then two flu’s and Covid affected her breathing/ energy so much I had to ban her completely from skating for a month, this period lasted three months which led to a loss of confidence. She has came back strong, learning skateboarding on her own without coaching, her commitment, despite not being skaters demands we get her to the park nearly whenever she wants. We see other young kids at our local of her age come and go, in the heat, wind or cold, when she’s not feeling it or tired Alice fronts up. Much respect to all the older friends who encourage her and lend tips and thanks to all who support her pages. Skating isn’t about competition for Alice, it’s another expression such as her talent in song and dance. She loves the challenge, doing what she wants, when and where she wants at her own pace. We are so proud of her achievements this year, at school and on the skatepark. All the best for 2023
