SEVEN SISTERS FESTIVAL.

Hello Women💃 I am so blessed to be facilitating a workshop "Alchemy of Emotional Mastery" at the Seven Sisters Festival this year - a 4-Day Women's Wellbeing Camping Festival, comprised of market stalls, arts & crafts, DIY, yoga, dancing, drumming, sound healing, women's circles, 140+ workshops covering a range of topics (from astrology to business) and so much more! 😍

VULNERABILITY IS STRENGTH.

Do you numb
your emotions?
Because you don't
want to feel it?
Because you think
it's weakness?

When you
supress raw emotions
of sadness,
hurt,
guilt,
shame,
anger,
because you don't want
to show it,
because you don't
want to be vulnerable,
this means
you also suppress
other raw emotions
of joy,
love,
peace.

Being vulnerable
means to be real,
to be raw,
to be authentic,
to show up
as you are
right now,
not who you think
you should be.

Being vulnerable
requires strength,
to have the courage
to just be You,
to live from a place
of authenticity
and truth.

Embrace your vulnerability.

FEAR IS AN ILLUSION.

When we're feeling
negative emotions
of frustration,
sadness,
guilt,
shame, blame
or stress
we are in FEAR-MODE.
These emotions
are all representations
of fear
in different forms.

But fear is
an illusion.
In yoga we call it "maya."

When you remember
who you truly are,
there is NO FEAR.

For you are not your body.
You are not your thoughts.
You are not your emotions.

You can HEAR your thoughts.
You can FEEL your emotions.
But you are not that.

You are the SOUL.
The soul is LOVE.
The soul is BLISS.
This is your True Self.
Your body is simply
a mask
for your soul.

When you remember this,
you allow yourself
to experience higher states
of being
of love,
kindness,
patience,
trust,
peace.

Fear is a lower state
of vibration.
Fear isn't real.
Fear is an illusion.
But damn, it feels soo real
when you're
suffering in it.
Fear separates you
from the divine truth
of who you already are.
When you know
deep within your soul
the truth of who you are
that you are already loved,
that you are already worthy,
you will free yourself
from these negative states
of emotions.

You have FREE-WILL
to choose your emotions
to choose your state of being
every day.
For you are the creator
of your destiny,
the driver of your life,
the master of your soul.

Do you choose fear
or love?
It's your choice. 💜

WHAT ARE YOU GETTING UP TO?
Stage 4 Lockdown
in Melbourne
has been one hell of a
crazy ride.
Curfew from 8pm to 5am daily? 🤔
And we can't travel beyond 5km from our home? 🙆‍♀️
Compulsory face mask in public.
Plus all the conspiracy theories 🤷‍♀️
Thank gosh for virtual yoga!
And all the other virtual stuff
that's happening around the world ⚡
So what have I been up to?
Meditating (occasionally in the park alone),
Dancing wildly in my yoga studio (since there's no-one else around),
Laughing,
Screaming (I think my neighbours think I'm crazy),
Stressing,
Sun-baking naked (in my room), Daydreaming,
Learning & growing 🌱
Teaching live virtual yoga 🙏
Hustling 💪
and occasionally I reward myself with a romantic Netflix film.
The life of a single woman in COVID-19 lockdown (for the last 5 months) 🤣😂😅
What is everyone else getting up to? Gimme some ideas!

IT WILL NEVER BE OVER.

When all this is over,
then I'll be happy again.
When I achieve my financial goals,
then I'll be fulfilled.
When I get all this s**t done,
then I'll be satisfied.

Sound familar?

Let's stop waiting for things to happen,
for things to be "right"
in order to feel fulfilled.
Let's be proactive
over reactive.
We can choose to enjoy life
as it is
right now.

Remember,
life is about progress,
not perfection.
We learn from our mistakes
before we can truly succeed.

Celebrate your little wins,
for life is about the journey,
not the destination.

Your wants
and desires
will NEVER be over.
Choose to be happy
now.
Don't wait for it. 👌

In yoga,
we call this "Samtosa"
that is, the practice of
contentment.

COMPARING IS POISON.

When you compare yourself
to others,
you naturally feel
better or worse
than others.
You treat life
like a competition
(where you'll either feel like
a winner or loser),
but you'll never truly be happy
with yourself.

Let's stop comparing
ourselves to others,
and remember that we are all
unique beings.

Instead of focusing on others,
focus on yourself 🤗💆‍♀️
Ask yourself:
Am I better than who I was yesterday?
Am I growing? 🌱
How can I be better? 🎉
What can I do to get a better result? 💪
How will I show up today?
Who do I choose to be today? 🤔🤷‍♀️

SEEKING LOVE FROM OTHERS?

When you truly love yourself,
you do not need to
seek it from others.
You do not
crave love & attention
from others.

When you fill up your love tank,
you naturally
overflow your body
with love
and have more
to extend to others.

Like a blossoming flower,
you naturally attract
bees to you.
