Life recently 📸

Starting w/ .nutrition has been beyond amazing.

Allowing my values, beliefs & morals to evolve has been a journey.

Family time has become even more important to me.

Self care has become even more important to me.

Faith is becoming more important to me.

Sunsets and sunrises are still my favourite thing ever.

Working a whole lot more.

Navigating an incredible relationship w/ my love 💕

In my era of growth & listening to my soul.

In life, we go through seasons.
Some harder than others.
Which is why it is so important to have physical habits that support you, so that no matter what season you’re going through, you still have a level of mental wellness, even when things are really tough.

Maybe you have a sick loved one, experience a break up, are grieving, lose a job… etc. etc.

If you:
• Eat take out & processed food most of the time
• Don’t move your body
• Don’t get enough sleep
• Don’t stay hydrated
• Don’t practice some sort of mindfulness

You are going to have a much harder time than someone who does the opposite of these.
Your mental wellness will suffer a whole lot more.

Some people may argue that it’s more stressful to complete physical habits (healthy eating, exercise ect.) when going through a hard season.

The intensity of these habits may change throughout seasons, yes. But the basis of these habits always remain.

If you were to stop exercising altogether. You lower the amount of ‘happy hormones’ released.

If you were to stop prioritising your nutrition and eat foods higher in carbs and sugar, you will spike your blood sugar more leading to energy and mood highs and crashes.

If you were to not prioritise sleep, you would have decreased cognitive function and a decreased ability to control your emotions.

If we let our physical habits slip all together, we are actually putting ourselves in a worse situation.

Physical habits dramatically effect your mental wellness 🧠🧘🏼‍♀️
