🇦🇺 2 YEARS ON THE ROAD! 🇦🇺

Today marks 2 years of travelling around this beautiful country we call home. ❤️

Two years of towing, exploring, getting lost, finding some bloody amazing places, meeting incredible people, chasing sunsets, camping in the middle of nowhere and waking up in places we once only dreamed of seeing.

We’ve seen some absolutely spectacular parts of Australia, had a few “what the hell are we doing?” moments 😂, learnt a LOT along the way and somehow managed to survive living in a caravan together… which is probably the biggest achievement of all! 🤣

We gave up the conventional life to see Australia on our terms, and we honestly wouldn’t change a thing.

There’s still so much more to see, so many more dirt roads to travel, camps to discover and adventures to be had.

So here’s to 2 years of full-time travel… and cheers to the next one! 🥂🍻

Who knows where the road will take us next… but we’ll be towing the house behind us when we get there! 😂🚐

📍 Ochre Pits, West MacDonnell Ranges, NT

It’s amazing how something so simple can hold so much history.

Recently we visited The Ochre Pits, they have been a sacred site for thousands of years. The colourful ochre found here wasn’t just used for art—it played an important role in ceremonies, trading and storytelling, with different colours carrying different meanings.

Standing amongst it, surrounded by the rich reds, yellows and oranges carved into the earth, it’s easy to appreciate why this place is so special.

It’s a short, easy walk from the car park, making it a worthwhile stop if you’re exploring the West MacDonnell Ranges. Just remember to admire the ochre where it belongs—it’s a protected site, so please leave it untouched.

Sometimes it’s the quieter places that leave the biggest impression. ❤️

THE FIRST EVER JB GROUP GATHERING — WHAT A WEEKEND!

A huge thank you to everyone who packed up the van and made the trip to Thornton Riverbend Caravan Park for our very first JB Group Gathering. Over 45 vans strong — you all came and had an absolute ball, and so did we!

From Trivia Nights to the Coffee Caravan, Sausage Sizzles, a Factory Meet & Greet, learning the ropes on Ecoflow batteries with Glen, brave souls taking the Big Freeze dive into the pool, and capping it all off with the Rock Band lighting up Saturday night — this weekend had everything.

A massive shoutout to Jamie & Liz for their incredible hosting — you made Thornton Riverbend feel like home for the whole crew.

And to every New Age, Traveller and JB Caravan & Motorhome owner who rolled in — thank you for being part of something we're so proud to have kicked off. This is just the beginning. We can't wait to support more gatherings like this one and get behind other customer meet-ups down the track.

🌊🐘 GREENS POOL & ELEPHANT ROCKS — WA MAGIC!

The stunning south coast of WA, and honestly… how good is this place?! 😍

Greens Pool, where the water is ridiculously clear and turquoise, surrounded by huge granite boulders. It looks tropical… right up until you put your toes in the water! 🥶😂

Then just around the corner you are wowed by Elephant Rocks — and you can definitely see where they got their name! 🐘🪨 Giant granite boulders sitting in the turquoise water, looking just like a herd of elephants gathered together for a swim.

The coastline around this area is simply spectacular. Beautiful beaches, enormous rocks, crystal-clear water and scenery that makes you appreciate how spectacular nature truly is! 🫶🏻

WA, you really know how to impress, and we can’t wait to get back there! 💙🇦🇺
