Medowie Cricket Club Welcome to Medowie Cricket Club We are a family oriented club operating out of Medowie, New South Wales. We cater for all ages and abilities.

We field Junior and Senior teams under the Newcastle Junior Cricket Association and the Newcastle City And Suburban Cricket Association. We make it easy for new players to join our club. The junior teams are provided with equipment by the club, players can just "show up and play" without up front expense. We cater for players that can only play partial season due to relocation or other requirement

s. The club places high priority on providing a cricket career for its junior players, and for the older players actively supports them in transitioning to Senior teams as their skills grow. Team registration is typically in August of every year. The playing season runs from October to March, weather permitting. Games alternate between Medowie and Newcastle. Teams conduct weekly practices, which are arranged to suit parents and players. Here at Medowie Cricket we are looking forward to an exciting season. See you down at the pitch!

A tradition like no other.

From humble beginnings in 1966 to a proud milestone in 2026, Medowie Cricket Club has spent six decades building memories, lifelong friendships, and a passion for the game that continues to thrive.

To mark this special occasion, we’ve unveiled a limited-edition 60th Anniversary Tawny Memorabilia Bottle — a tribute to the players, volunteers, supporters, and families who have made our club what it is today.

Here’s to the countless runs scored, wickets taken, premierships won, and stories shared over the years. Most importantly, here’s to the people who have worn the black and gold with pride and kept the spirit of Medowie Cricket Club alive.

🏏 JUNIOR CRICKET REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! 🏏

Medowie Cricket Club is excited to officially open Stage One (Under 11’s) registrations for our 2026/27 Junior Cricket season!

After the successful return of junior cricket, we’re looking forward to a fantastic season welcoming boys and girls of all abilities from Stage One through to Under Stage 3. We do have interest in other age groups but need at least 6-8 more players per stage!

Expressions of Interest are now OPEN for the upcoming 2026/2027 junior cricket season! 🙌

We’re welcoming boys & girls of all abilities from Under 8’s through to Under 16’s to join the only local cricket club in Medowie! 🏏

We currently have enough interest in Stage One! (Under 11’s) but still require a few more numbers and also have interest in Stage Two!!! But also require more numbers!
