Medowie is a rapidly growing town in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia, It is located approximately 22 kilometres north of Newcastle in the Port Stephens district. Medowie rugby draws on players from Medowie, Williamtown, Tanilba Bay, Raymond Terrace, Swan Bay, Karuah, Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest and Stockton. These local communities, including the members of the Williamtown RAAF base, form the basis of a freindly, family orientated club. The club fields teams in the local Junior and Senior Rugby competitions and has a very social “Old Boys” team providing opportunities for players and spectators of all ages and abilities to enjoy this great game. The club runs a fantastic social touch competition to keep us all in shape during the off season.
