🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️ On Friday May 15th, Medowie LAC held its annual general meeting. We are pleased to share that our committee and team has doubled in size, what a win for the club! We all have a shared vision, to provide the children and their families, of Medowie and surrounding districts a place to belong, feel safe, and grow in sport.

So glad that we have you on board Level Up Fitness Apparel 💫 thank you ⭐️

When we started… it was all about affordable clothing and kids having “gym clothes” too.

A couple of years on… getting an appreciation certificate for sponsoring the local little athletics club was a really cool reminder.

A reminder of how far we’ve come, the things we’ve learned, and the people we’ve met, but also being in a position to give back at a grassroots level.

It doesn’t matter where it happens, a gym, a field, at work, at school, in the water, on a track…. Being able to watch people of any age make efforts to improve themselves, and get a pb, the look on their face is always the same.

The sense of accomplishment, the feeling of hard consistent work paying off, it’s always shown in the face. It’s raw and on display. And we love to see it.

We love to see you Level Up.

💛🖤 Thank you families for coming and enjoying the presentation with us, the patience of our youngest athletes our Tots was brilliant and we hope they got a kick out of their awards. As we took group photos, if you have a child that you do not wish to be put on social media in our presentation photo folder, please message. Thank you again, a post and email will come out in the next week, and we will see you again in September! Registrations will open in August 🖤💛

🚨 Reminder presentation evening starts at 5pm regardless of weather. AGM to follow after, if you wish to nominate for a committee role the online form link has been emailed to all members, this needs to be completed prior to AGM start. If you are a community member or future family that thinks they can help continue the success from this season, we would love to have you jump onboard. Please message for details.

💛 Congratulations Medowie little athlete Scarlet, NSWCHS afl selection and Hunter mvp, your athletics community is proud to be apart of your growth. We love to see our Medowie kids involved in mutiple sports and have them return each summer to this great community club, have fun Scarlet ! 💛

🚨 Attention families. An automated reminder post on Presentation Day was recently made, this was unexpected and we apologise. The committee has made the decision to move Presentation Day to May 15th. One of our families, is currently with a child in hospital with a serious injury, this stay may continue for quite a few days to come. We all have children we are very aware of any frustration felt over this decision. An email with more details is coming out tonight. We really look forward to being able to celebrate your children on the 15th, and thank you all in person for supporting Medowie Little Athletics.

🖤💛 We’ve been itching to post how our last club night went down. And now we can! The sun shone, the vibe was brilliant and we were thrilled to host our NSW State MP, The Hon. Kate Washington to our club, who presented us with $8000, making us hit our funding mark to be able to purchase a Timing system for the club. Thank you Kate and NSW Gov Sport Grants!
