We are now celebrating 20 years in business with classes from 18 months to Adult for those just beginning to pre-professional level in multiple genres. Reflections Academy of Dance was established in 2003 by the Principal, Melissa Riseberry A.M.B.B.O. (Distinction)

The school follows the syllabus of the British Ballet Organisation (BBO). Students take annual exams offered by the BBO and they also compete in local competitions with great success.

Happy 18th Birthday to Miss Jayde! 🥳

From a little girl who couldn’t ball change to a beautiful dancer and young woman. What a ride it’s been watching you grow, we’ve danced and laughed our way through some crazy times, milestones and even in masks through pandemics and made it to this! An adult that now teaches and inspires the next generation of Reflections dancers. Dance isn’t just about dance. It teaches and guides you through growing up with a support system of friends and relationships that last a lifetime. It’s not all roses, there’s tears and lessons along the way but always with love and intentions of growing young humans into amazing adults; which is what you’ve become. I’m honoured to have watched you grow into the wonderful young woman you are today. Thanks to Steph for trusting us all at Reflections along your journey you are a very special part of our little family. I hope you have the most amazing day celebrating this special birthday. I’m excited to celebrate with you. I hope all your hopes and dreams for the future come true Jayde, your hard work, determination and work ethic will send you far. Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums, nans, grandmas, aunties, big sisters and mother figures in our dance family 💐✨

Today we celebrate the love, support, sacrifices and endless encouragement you give every single day. From sewing costumes, doing hair and makeup, school pick ups, late night rehearsals and cheering from the audience, none of this would be possible without you 🤍

I feel so grateful to have a job where I not only get to teach dance, but also become a second mum, safe place and supporter for so many beautiful children as they grow. Watching them learn, laugh, succeed and believe in themselves is something I never take for granted.

Thank you for trusting me with your babies and for being such an important part of our dance family. Wishing you all a day filled with love, appreciation and maybe a little bit of peace and quiet too 😉🌸💜💐
