🏆 GRAND FINAL NIGHT 🏆

Qualifying: 7th group2
Heat: P7 - P7
Midpack: P7 - P4
Feature: P16 - P4

After a tough start in qualifying, the team dug deep and Mikey knew exactly what needed to be done. He took everything on board and by the time the Feature rolled around, he was locked in.

After a couple of early restarts, the race finally got underway and Mikey committed to the top and didn’t look back. Full send.

Lap after lap he ripped the cushion with confidence, passing cars and showing just how comfortable he’s become up there. With 10 laps to go, the yellows came on and he had charged from P16 to P5.

On the restart, straight back to the top. No hesitation.

With one lap to go, he was hunting down a podium position, closing in on 3rd, but just ran out of time, crossing the line in a hard-fought P4.

An incredible drive, and without a doubt one of his best.

We couldn’t be prouder of what Mikey has achieved in his first 410 season. The growth, the grit, and the determination — it’s all there, and this is only the beginning.

Bella Modular Sprintcar Silver Cup Recap

It was a challenging night for Mikey at the Bella Modular Sprintcar Silver Cup. After becoming unwell on Friday night, we knew Saturday’s hot conditions were going to make it a tough night in the car. Despite that, Mikey pushed through and gave it everything he had.

Qualifying was a positive start to the night, with Mikey setting a strong lap to qualify 3rd in his group.

Starting from pole position in the heat race, the initial start was messy with the field spreading out before the green. While trying to avoid contact with another car, Mikey had to swerve which unsettled the car and cost valuable momentum. He recovered to bring it home in P6.

In the B Dash, Mikey started 6th and finished 6th, which set him up for a P12 start in the Feature.

Despite not feeling 100%, Mikey composed himself ahead of the Feature and put together a solid drive through the field, working his way up to 7th, before being shuffled back on the final lap to finish 8th.

Another Top 10 finish, with the car loaded back into the truck with no damage — always a positive outcome on a tough night.

We’ll regroup during the week and be back at Perth Motorplex this Saturday for Asphalt Recyclers Australia Sprintcar Gold Cup 🏆
