Brodie went through a chaotic elimination round last night at Aeroflow Nitro Slam II, which saw him land the B Final win against Lisa Gregorini!

Congratulations also to round winner Maurice Brennan taking the round win from Steve Aldridge in the A final!

𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 - 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟰

Here's how things stack up! After winning the Westernationals, young gun Brodie Zappia leads the championship heading into this Saturday's finale - with a 30pts margin back to Lisa Gregorini in 2nd and a further 10pts to uncle John in 3rd!

However - with the final round of the Direct Mining & Industrial International Top Doorslammer championship looming - there's 50% BONUS points up for grabs in the final round...meaning this championship is far from over!

Here's a small snapshot of how some of the championship permutations could work out this Saturday night

For 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙚 𝙕𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙖 to hold onto the championship...he needs to stay more than 30 points in front of Lisa and 40 points in front of John. Meaning an A final appearance is top priority come Saturday night!

For 𝙇𝙞𝙨𝙖 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙞 to claim the win - the A final win is needed...with Brodie in the B final to win the championship by at least 7.5pts.

For 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝙕𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙖, the chances are a little slimmer...but not zero! John would need to win the A final - and have Brodie lose the B final to make the championship claim!

Congratulations to Brodie Zappia of Zappia Racing on taking his maiden Top Doorslammer win - on just his 4th professional drag racing appearance...and at only the BIGGEST event on the WA Calendar - the Westernationals!

The 19 year old ace will now step into the lead of the Direct Mining & Industrial Top Doorslammer Championship heading into the final round - Aeroflow Nitro Slam II at Perth Motorplex on March 22!
