UNDER 13S GRAND FINAL💛💚

What a season from our Under 13s! 🌟
Our girls gave it everything in today’s Grand Final, going down to Onkaparinga 17–14 in a hard-fought game.

They should be incredibly proud of the way they represented Meadows — not just today, but all season. The improvement, teamwork and determination this group has shown has been amazing to watch.

Making a Grand Final is a huge achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of you girls. 💚💛

C GRADE GRAND FINAL 💛💚
A huge effort from our C Grade girls today, finishing their Grand Final against Mount Barker United 48–35.

It wasn’t the result we were hoping for, but nothing takes away from the achievement of making it all the way to the Grand Final. The girls fought right to the end and represented Meadows with pride. 💪

Congratulations on a fantastic season, girls. Hold your heads high — you should be incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved! 💛💚

C GRADE GRAND FINAL SPOTLIGHT

Message from captain Michelle Sawtell

This year we started the season with a new coach, ready to whip us into shape and help us reach our team goal of making finals. From the beginning, we all came together, supported each other and bought into Leah’s game plan each week.

As the season went on, we grew stronger and stronger as a team. We’ve worked hard, learnt new skills, found versatility on the court and, most importantly, we’ve still managed to have plenty of laughs and fun along the way.

It’s honestly been such a joy to captain this supportive, determined and amazing bunch of ladies. ❤️ I’m so proud of what this team has achieved this season. For some of us, this has been a few seasons in the making, which makes getting to this point even more special.

As Leah said on Tuesday, we just need to treat Saturday like any other game — back each other, trust what we’ve worked on and finish the season strong. 💚💛

We’re so excited to have the support of our club on Saturday, just like we have had throughout the whole season. We’re ready to give it everything we’ve got!

UNDER 13's GRAND FINAL SPOTLIGHT

Message from Coach Wade

2026 has been a year to remember. At the outset my Assistant Coach Scott and I were handed the responsibility to prepare these girls for the transition to the Inters leagues.
After some experimentation and fine tuning it was not long before we could see this team had real potential.

These amazing girls have done everything that has been asked of them along the way. Get our first win of the season - done, win enough games to clinch a finals berth - done, score more than 30 goals in a game - done, finish minor premiers - done, get to the Grand Final - done.

When they are all playing their best and working for each other, we are unstoppable. They have grown as players both physically and mentally tougher, matured as young adults and connected on and off the court.

It has been a rewarding journey - only 4 more quarters of focused netball to handle.

We hope to see you all this Saturday as we close the book on this season. Let's as a community bring the noise and the passion for the Green and Gold, and bring the girls home!
