What a fantastic effort from Blake Cummins in the Junior C**ts last round against Aldinga - Yankalilla.

Blake was outstanding with the ball, finishing with brilliant figures of 5/13 off only 5 overs! It was a great spell that had top of the ladder Aldinga-Yank under pressure very early. A little reminder how damaging he can be with the ball.

Five wickets is always a special achievement (not Blakes first 5 for either) so well done mate and well deserved.

And being the last round we have a unique chance to celebrate the season together with our Junior Crusher presentation evening at MV Sporting Complex.

It’s been a fantastic season watching these young players develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy their cricket. From big hits and great wickets to awesome teamwork and huge numbers in the Junior ranks.

The future of the Crushers looks bright.

With the bad weather on Saturday all but one of our teams didnt get a start. Junior C**ts Green managed to get 28 overs in at Aldinga and took a massive advantage going into day 2 🍇🏏

Wow what a season 2025/26 has been for our C**t teams.

The season has had it all!... from great individual efforts to awesome all round team games, top of the ladder clashes to break through wins
And not forget incredibly hot hard days in the field and training to washed out games.

The club, parents and especially your coaches are super proud of the way you lads have carried yourself, trained hard, pushed each other and most of all had fun doing it.

It’s that exciting time of year again where we get to have a laugh together and celebrate another season done with “LADIES NIGHT”

This year leave your cricket hats at home and join us for a ladies Mexican themed night. Come dressed for a Fiesta 🎉🎉.

The night will be held at the club rooms - The Red Shed. Ticket entry stays the same at $20 which includes a drink on entry.

Huge congratulations to these six lads who played their part in the GSCA Calaby Shield and Fuller Shield triumphs, securing Grand Final victories on Sunday.

In the Calaby win, opening bowler Dylan Hill set the tone early, taking 2 wickets in his first over. Max Tresidder opened the batting and got the team off to a flyer in a 44-run partnership, then backed it up with 2 wickets of his own. Luka Labuschagne batted solidly at No. 6, remaining not out at just under a run a ball, while also bowling well during his spell.

In the Fuller Shield, Max Petrucci produced a captain’s knock of 48, narrowly missing a well-deserved half century. Then after a mini collapse Deegan Briggs stepped up with the bat making an important 19* off 57 balls. Harry Wade bowled well without luck, finishing with impressive tight figures of 0/14 off 7 overs.

Well done lads hope you enjoyed the experience. We’re all incredibly proud of you 🍇🏏
