Happy Long Weekend to all our football community and good luck to all MDFC players in the Association games!

Here is the latest from Council on the Park Drive road works:

The main reconstruction works are scheduled for Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th June.

During these two days, access to the site will be restricted to foot traffic only between approximately 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

I can confirm that the road will be accessible from 4:00 pm (or earlier if works allow) to enable football practice to proceed as planned.

Please note that these timeframes are subject to change depending on weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Attn MDFC Players, Families & Faithful

The long weekend offers players & families a good chance for a much needed break. There will be NO training and NO meals this Thursday night, 4th June.
(No GSFL fixtured games this weekend either!)

Good luck to the MDFC players who are selected to play for GSFL in the Association match this Saturday 6th June.

MND Ice Dunk Challenge COMPLETE!
and yes it was bloody COLD

today wasn't our home game..
today wasn't our fundraiser..
today was something bigger than the game of football..

It was about raising awareness and funds for such a worthy cause..
Thank you Kim and the for inviting us to take part in your MND round, hats of to you guys for a job well done.

As the away club we raised $2355 for the Ice Dunk Challenge and sold 156 pairs of MND football socks giving us a total of $4695 raised (in 4 days might we add) to contribute to Yanks outstanding effort.
Heartfelt thank MDFC Fam for your support, you guys truly are the best!

💙❤️💛 150 A Grade Games 💙❤️💛

Today Kaine Hopkins played his 150th A grade game. A magnificent achievement for someone they call “the wallet” cos he can always be found in the back pocket.

Hoppo is one of the first picked each week, someone that is always team first and plays his role to a tee.

Well done Hoppo.

Congratulations to Flyn Modra & Lincoln Angel who both played their first A Grade games Saturday.

Both lads have had great starts the season Linc in Reserves finding the big sticks on numerous occasions and Mods getting plenty of the ball in Senior Colts they deserved this opportunity; in turn they had great games and played their roles.

Congratulations Mods & Linc we are super proud of you!
