Get down in your navy & gold and get behind our teams! 💛💙 Bring out your pom poms , make up some signs and banners, we want to see loud, proud and everyone out there celebrating every single team that has worked so hard to make their grand finals!!

Then it’s back to McLaren Flat Community Club from 6pm for —
GRAND FINAL NIGHT — ALL WELCOME! 💃🏼

🎵 IPOD SHUFFLE NIGHT
$10 per song — CASH ONLY
Pick your party/dance song and when the playlist gets shuffled, the LAST SONG PLAYED WINS THE LOT! 💰
You must still be there to win!

🌮 MEXICAN SHARE TABLE
Entry is one item per person to add to our DIY Mexican table. We will get it started with taco mince, taco shells and salsa, if you bring something easy like cheese, Doritos, tortillas, sour cream, guac, lettuce, tomato etc.

Have a quick chat with your team so we don’t end up with 20 sour creams!! 🤦‍♀️

No one stuck cooking or prepping ,just an easy, cheap night out where everyone chips in!

For the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, April has taken out:

Back-to back👏

Then she also took out..
🏆 SENIOR Most Polled Votes

And then.. she was also named in the A1 Team of the Year again!🏆

(As you can see in one of the photos, the girls literally had to help her hold all of her awards and certificates 😂)

What an incredible achievement, April!
To go back-to-back as A1 Best & Fairest AND achieve Senior Most Polled Votes is something pretty special.

A massive congratulations to all of our girls recognised. We are incredibly proud of you all and what you continue to achieve representing McLaren Flat. 💛💙

A few weeks ago….our President Mel Parsons achieved her C Badge Umpiring Accreditation! 👏

Mel already gives so much of her time to our club, so it’s pretty bloody impressive that she’s managed to tick this one off as well!

A fantastic achievement and very well deserved.

💙💛 GRAND FINAL NIGHT AT McLAREN FLAT! 💛💙

Saturday 12th September we are getting together at the community club to celebrate the end of the season.. and hopefully a few GRAND FINAL WINS! 🏆

The club will be open from 5:30/ 6pm onwards and everyone is welcome!

🌮 ENTRY FEE = A DONATION TO OUR MEXICAN FOOD SHARE TABLE!

Nothing fancy and absolutely no need to stress or spend heaps! We know some of you will be playing netball that day, so keep it EASY.

Have a chat amongst your team/friends and split it up , one person brings a bag of Doritos, someone brings grated cheese, someone brings tortillas/wraps, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, guacamole… whatever works!

If you have got time and feel like making something Mexican to bring along, absolutely go for it, but there is zero expectation to cook. A supermarket grab-and-go contribution is PERFECT.

We will supply some taco mince, taco shells and salsa to get the table started 🌮

The idea is simple, everyone brings one little thing, we throw it all on the table and there should be plenty for everyone to share to make sure everyone has food to snack on during the evening.

🎶 We will also have our iPod Shuffle Night!!
$10 per song, we chuck the playlist on shuffle once everyones songs are loaded and the final song played wins the lot! BUT— You must still be present to claim the prize!!

Chuck on/keep on your club colours, bring your Mexican contribution and come celebrate the season with us! 🌮 🍸

💙💛SEMI FINALS- DONE & DUSTED! 💛💙

A massive congratulations to all of our McLaren Flat teams who took the court for Semi Finals!

To the teams whose seasons came to an end, what a fantastic season! You should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved and the way you have represented McLaren Flat. 💙💛

For some of our teams though… WE ARE NOT DONE YET!

Our A1s have officially booked their spot in the GRAND FINAL 🏆 and now we need to see who else can join them!

Next Saturday, get yourselves out to Kangarilla Recreation Ground and get behind our McLaren Flat teams fighting their way through the Preliminary Finals. Wear your navy & gold, bring the noise and help push them over the line!

A HUGE thank you also needs to go to everyone who helped our club host Semi Finals yesterday.

There is an incredible amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to host a day like this- endless shopping, organising, lists, food prep, baking, setting up, cooking, serving, cleaning, packing up and about a million other little jobs that most people never see.

These efforts can sometimes go completely unrecognised, but they are so important to acknowledge. Days like yesterday are a huge fundraising opportunity for our club, and they simply don't happen without people giving up their time before, during and after the event.

So to every single person who shopped, organised, donated, baked, cooked, worked the BBQ or canteen, sold raffle tickets, set up, packed up, cleaned toilets or simply jumped in wherever something needed doing ...THANK YOU 💙💛

Now...Let’s pack Kangarilla next weekend and see if we can send a few more McLaren Flat teams through to join our A1s on GRAND FINAL DAY!

GOOD LUCK to all our McLaren Flat teams taking the court today!

Come down, get around our teams and make some noise from the sidelines.

Our canteen is FULLY LOADED with hot food, cold drinks, snacks and plenty more available throughout the day, so come hungry!

Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5, so make sure you grab some while you are there and help support our club.
