Based in Dangar Park Mayfield, NSW GAA – Hunter is a new and growing Gaelic Football club welcoming players from all over Newcastle and the Hunter region. We offer junior training (ages 4–16) as well as senior men’s and ladies’ football, providing a fun, inclusive, and

supportive environment for everyone — from complete beginners to experienced players. For just $25 per person for the full season, players enjoy:

What a day!

First things first, a huge thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday possible — especially whoever had their granny light a candle for the weather- she absolutely got the job done! ☀️

While Bondi Gaels may have taken home the wins, we've still got plenty to celebrate. Yesterday marked a major milestone for Hunter G.A.C. as we played our first-ever matches against another GAA club.

Just over a year ago, Hunter G.A.C. didn't exist. Yesterday, we fielded both a Ladies and Men's team in Newcastle against travelling opposition. That's something we're incredibly proud of, and it wouldn't have happened without the support of so many people along the way.

A massive thank you to Bondi Gaels for making the trek north and being part of such a big day for our club. We hope you enjoyed your time in the Hunter and we look forward to returning the favour.

Shout out as always to Colin and everyone at NSW GAA for their ongoing support and for being there with us yesterday. You have played a huge part in helping our club grow.

A big thank you also to our sponsors — Finn Valley, The Good Dentist and Northern Integrated Pain Management. We genuinely couldn't do this without your support.

Bondi Gaels are making the trip north and we'd love to give them a proper Newy welcome. We'd love to see plenty of faces around the sideline supporting both our Ladies and Men's teams.

Bring a chair, bring the family, bring a mate who's never seen Gaelic football before- bring a picnic or buy a sausage & some fizzy drink from the club!

It's a long weekend, the weather is looking good, and it's shaping up to be a fantastic day for GAA! After the matches we'll be heading to Mayfield Bowlo, so stick around and celebrate with us.
