Big thank you to the Murrindindi Shire Council for the support in helping us purchase new carpet tiles for the Gym.

The tiles not only help to give a safe, grippy surface for the gym users, but also aids the noise reduction.

The celebration of Tri Active Life’s new dedicated space was highlighted by Cindy McLeish MP in Parliament the other week. This showcased the dedication and hardwork our team of volunteers put behind the scenes to bring the gym and fitness activities to the Tri Area.

Tri Active Life started out as Tri Gym with a handful of members keen to keep themselves fit and to keep aches and pains at bay.

That was in January 2022. It seems all of a sudden we are in our fifth year and we finally have a dedicated gym space to call home. Downstairs in the Marysville Community Centre, entry is via the doors on the oval side of the building.

Members have several fitness classes per week and of course the gym is open four days a week for personal workouts.

We are celebrating the opening of our new gym space next week. Come along and check us out! Email your RSVP by Monday 9th.

Tri Active Life is recommencing normal activities TODAY Monday 19th, with one exception.

The exception is Line Dancing tomorrow. Because a number of our dancers, including our wonderful dance leaders Janet and Danny can't be with us, those who can please join us for a cuppa instead 1.30pm Tuesday 20th January Buxton Hall.

Fit for Life Balance Strength Flexibility. Join us for 2026 classes.

During September and early October we had Suzy van der Vlies come to the gym to instruct us through some balance exercises. Starting off gently and graduating to the more tricky poses over the four week program.

We had a great turnout of people attending and now we have some exercises to work on at home 😁
