Congratulations to Master Michael Landas on being an Inductee in this years International Martial Arts Hall of Fame IMAHOF and being honored with the 'International Exemplary Martial Arts Master Award' at the 2026 World Martial Arts Awards, taking place in Dublin, Ireland, on 25–26 July 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hall.
Master Michael Landas has dedicated over three decades to the martial arts, building an extraordinary legacy as a competitor, instructor, mentor, and innovator. Beginning his journey in Boxing, Aikido, and Taekwondo at a young age, he quickly distinguished himself through unwavering discipline, exceptional talent, and an unrelenting pursuit of excellence.
Today, Master Michael is recognized internationally as a 7th Degree Black Belt, Founder of Close Quarter Combatives Taekwondo, and one of Australia's most respected martial arts leaders. His achievements include multiple Australian Championship titles, extensive success as a referee, and Black Belts across numerous martial arts disciplines.
Beyond competition, his true passion lies in transforming lives. Through his leadership, thousands of students—including children, adults, seniors, and individuals with disabilities—have discovered confidence, resilience, and personal empowerment. His remarkable work in disability inclusion, anti-violence initiatives, youth development, and community outreach has left an indelible impact throughout Australia and beyond.
