🏓 PICKLEBALL THIS WEEK IN MARYBOROUGH! 🏓

Looking for a fun way to stay active, meet new people and enjoy some friendly competition? Come along and join us at the Maryborough Pickleball Club!

Congratulations to all our Masters participants who recently completed an entertaining 5 week mixed competition.

Going into the final round, there was only two points the difference between the top four teams and with a clean sweep of game wins on the night, the fifth placed team made a blistering run home to place equal first.

Also showing us that "it's not how you start but how you finish", was our last placed winners, who brought their A game and had their best night of the competition.

From a spectator's perspective, it was great to see the rallies lengthen over the 5 week period, hear the laughter around the courts and see players enjoying themselves.

Great effort everyone...well done to you all! 👏

An estimated 5 million people volunteer in Australia and when we consider the level of activities, clubs, events and services available to us, it highlights the importance of volunteers, who are truly the blood force of our communities.

A massive heartfelt thank you and shout out to all the wonderful volunteers who willingly donate their time to help keep our club ticking and developing. As one of our members so aptly expressed, "Some people do and some people don't", and we are very fortunate to have some pretty awesome doers!

To all the volunteers in our community, we applaud you and thank you for your very generous contribution. 💝👏💝
