Maryborough tonight for a club show and the first run for the season. Won the first heat but have had some engine gremlins and have had to park the car for the night.

The night didn’t start well with a throttle cable issue meaning that we couldn’t start the first heat off the front row. With no points in the first heat we had to progress through the B Main to the A. Once the throttle cable issue was fixed we managed to get some good laps in on a fast track.

Our night finished early tonight hurting the engine in hot laps. Most likely the aftermath of losing water after a blown hose in Round 1.

Bit of bad luck last night with the car losing a lot of water from the engine in the feature resulting in a DNF. Starting out of P5 Sam moved the car up to P3 with a few laps to go when the problem occurred. Will assess the damage this morning and will hopefully be running in Round 2 in Gympie tonight.
