Vale David Moon

It is with great sadness and displeasure that we have been advised of the passing of David Moon on this morning Thursday the 12th of September 2024.

We extend our condolences to Denise and Family.

David has been a member of SSAA for the last 20 years and has remained active and well respected in our club and amongst his fellow shooters. He will by sadly missed by many and it will not be the same without David being around.

May he Rest in Peace.

We will pass on the details of his funeral once we are advised.

2024 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING & SEPTEMBER GENERAL MEETING

The 2024 Annual General Meeting will be held at 10AM on Saturday 28th of September 2024 at the Rifle Range, SSAA Q50 Fraser Coast Branch, 933 Churchill Mine Rd. Walliebum 4650. All Q50 Fraser Coast Members are welcome to attend. Please bring a chair to sit on.

Nomination Forms for Committee positions can be obtained by contacting The Secretary. Nominations must be received by The Secretary no later than 5PM on Friday 13th of September.

​The September General Meeting will be conducted shortly after the AGM finishes. Estimated at around 11:300AM.

PISTOL RETURN & DECLARATION

If you are a Q50 Fraser Coast Branch Pistol Sub-Branch member then you must complete the Annual Pistol Return & Declaration online by the 1st of July each year. This is a QLD Weapons Licensing requirement.

This must be accompanied by a $20 Pistol Sub-Branch Administration Fee form and your Shoot Participation Records.

You must also keep your Participation Records and submit it to Weapons Licensing Branch when it comes time to renew your Concealable Licence.

Please submit your participation records and pay online at https://www.ssaafrasercoast.org.au/annual-forms.html using the Annual Pistol Return & Declaration form, or if you wish to also purchase a Range Pass Card please use the Range Pass Application Form.

2024-2025 RANGE PASS CARDS AVAILABLE ONLINE

SSAA members can purchase a 2024-2025 Annual Range Pass now online at https://www.ssaafrasercoast.org.au/annual-forms.html.

Q50 Fraser Coast Pistol Sub-Branch members may also upload their 2023-2024 Pistol Returns and pay the Sub-Branch administration fee using the same form.

Members may start using their 2024-2025 immediately after they receive the card.

Mother Nature is at it again! The range is going to be CLOSED Sunday 5th, Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th of May to give it time for this wet weather to pass and the range to dry out.
