We Love grading day! Such a wonderful display today from everyone who graded. Congratulations to you all. Well done to Zoha and Oscar who both achieved their 1st Poom degree Black Belt today. You were well supported by everyone. Reminder there are both junior and senior classes next week before the school holiday break.

Our guys came home last Sunday from the Victorian State Selection titles with 18 medals, 8 Gold, 7 Silver & 3 Bronze. All have now qualified for the Australian National Championships to be held in Canberra in October. Stand outs for the day, were Ella, Emily, Jose and Fysh. We are all back on the mat in Training mode!! Well done Team.

Congratulations to Emily Carberry for being presented with her 3rd Poom Black Belt certificate last night at training. Emily has been training at Maryborough Martial Arts since she was 4 years old. A great effort Emily and role model to others.

Well done to the club team who brought home 6 gold, 2 silver & 2 bronze from the ATV State Tournament held in Melbourne yesterday. Thank to our small club cheer squad, Niki, Xalen, Kyler & Jose & Emily's dad. Thank you to Mark who joined our team and to Ella for the great photographic moments. Well done Team!!

Great grading today from everyone. Well done to Ruby also on achieving her Cho Dan Bo grading. Junior & Senior classes will be on this week as normal before the school holiday break.

Congratulations to Jose who was recently presented with his 3rd DAN Kukkiwon Black Belt certificate. Jose started taekwondo at the club when he was 4 years old and has achieved a lot in his taekwondo journey. He also assists in the junior classes and competes at State & National Tournaments. Well done Jose.

Well done to Heather who represented the club recently on May 1st at the World Selections Poomsae Event held at Carrara Stadium at the Gold Coast. The event attracted 163 top athletes from all over Australia in various age divisions who competed to secure a place in the Australian Team to represent Australia later this year in September in Chuncheon, Korea. Heather secured bronze, missed out on the team, but had a great experience in a well contested competition. Now back to the training Mat!!
