We are residents of the Central Goldfields Shire passionate about living sustainably right now and building a sustainable future for ourselves, our communities and the world at large. We organise regular events for our members and guests to learn about sustainable practices, get hands-on experience and to share our knowledge, skills and resources. These events may be about learning the simple tec

hniques that have increasingly been lost in a fast-paced, consumption oriented world, such as preserving produce, weaving and looking after a vege garden. Or they may be about using modern technology to make more efficient use of resources, such as building wicking gardens, running an aquaponics system, or knowing the ins and outs of generating your own electricity with solar panels.
