Hello members. Does anyone know where the IRON MARIA wreck is located in Hervey Bay. and if so, could you show us on a map please. There are map ref online showing its 15k of shore on the way towards the Tobruk, but we could not find it up there. Thanks Nathan

Good Morning Crew,
This Sunday the Dive Club will be hosting a family day BBQ down at Blackstump Park (Point Vernon - Gatakers Bay). We are meeting up at 9am for all divers/snorkels. BBQ for lunch and we will have you home in time for the NRL grand final.

There will be sausages and soft drinks provided. Please bring a chair and your dive/snorkelling gear as we will be heading out on a shore dive/snorkel at high tide (10am).
All are welcome whether members or not so please bring your friends and family along. Some members will be bringing spare dive equipment along. You will be able to borrow this if required. This includes tanks however please let us know what equipment you will require so we can cater for you.
Please feel free to pass this email on to anyone you may think maybe keen to try diving.
We would appreciate if you can RSVP with approximate numbers for catering purposes. Please contact either myself (0473 0310 519) or Nathan (0404 045 490) via email, Facebook or phone.
We will also be handing the dive club shirts for financial members. This is a first in best dressed. Some shirts have already been claimed.

Sorry I forgot to mention it's this SUNDAY 6th of OCTOBER @ 9am.
High tides is at 10am.
So if you need to get there a little earlier that's fine we'll be there from 8.30am setting up.
