Hey everyone, unfortunately, Hockey Dad’s shows this weekend (Fri 17 & Sat 18 Oct) at the Marrickville Bowlo are postponed due to illness.

The shows have been rescheduled to January, and all tickets remain valid:

Fri 17 Oct - now Fri 9 Jan

Sat 18 Oct - now Sat 10 Jan

If you can’t make the new dates, refunds are available at point of purchase.
Thanks for your understanding, and we’ll see you in January for a massive weekend.

We'll still have GREG, BLISTAR, BIMBO and STEVE BOURK (SOLO) playing on Saturday night, so come down and show them some love!

This service will be live-streamed at Marrickville Bowling Club for anyone who wishes to pay their respects.
A wake will be held at the club following the service.

A private family service for William (Billy) Goodall Senior will be held at 2:00pm on Friday September 26, 2025.

A wake will be held at the club following the service.

All who knew Billy are warmly invited to attend.

It is with deep regret and sadness we inform you of the passing of William Goodall Senior, a life member of Marrickville Bowling and Recreation Club.

William passed away peacefully on Sunday night, aged 82.

Affectionately referred to as Billy Senior, Billy joined the Marrickville Bowling Club in 1989. A former greenkeeper, Billy was seen helping to maintain the greens well in to his 80’s when his son, Billy Jr took a well-deserved holiday. He also started the Twilight Bowls competition, which has been running for well over a decade, and spent countless hours volunteering his time to make up the cards and draws since its inception.

Billy’s presence and unforgettable laughter will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

MBRC extends it's heartfelt condolences to Billy’s family and friends during this difficult time.

Funeral details will be advised once known.
