MEET THE ATHLETE | LILI CHRISTOPHERS

Experienced representative athlete Lili Christophers will once again pull on the Territory Storm dress at the 2026 Super Netball Reserves Finals.

Standing at 168cm and playing in GA and WA, Lili brings valuable experience to the team, having previously represented the Northern Territory at both the National Netball Championships and Super Netball Reserves.

Since taking up netball at eight years old, Lili has continued to develop her game through hard work, commitment and a willingness to keep learning.

One piece of advice has stayed with her throughout her netball journey.

"Be confident and back yourself."

It's a message that aligns closely with the approach she takes both on and off the court.

"Work really hard, no one is going to do it for you. If you keep putting in the hard work, on and off court, then whatever happens, you will be proud of yourself."

While many athletes look to professional players for inspiration, Lili credits local netball leaders Tash McCrae, Rachelle Tinning and Michelle Kerrin as the people she admires most.

"Incredible athletes and volunteers who I hope to be like one day."

Having benefited from the guidance of respected figures within the Northern Territory netball community, Lili understands the impact strong role models can have on an athlete's development.

As she prepares for another Territory Storm campaign, Lili continues to demonstrate the value of hard work, humility and learning from those who help shape the game both on and off the court.

MEET THE ATHLETE | SONNYANNE RAGGETT

Versatile midcourter and defender Sonnyanne Raggett has earned selection in the 2026 Territory Storm team and will take to the court at the Super Netball Reserves Finals.

One piece of advice has remained with her throughout her netball journey.

"Both you and your opponent have two arms and two legs. She's no different from me, so why should I be afraid?"

It is a mindset that has helped build confidence on the court and one she hopes younger athletes can learn from as they pursue their own representative ambitions.

"Give it a go. The girls and the coaches are amazing and, even though other states might underestimate us, we are no different from any other state out there."

MEET THE ATHLETE | MACKENZIE LYNCH

Mackenzie Lynch will once again represent the Northern Territory when Territory Storm takes the court at the 2026 Super Netball Reserves Finals.

Standing at 173cm and capable of playing GD, WD, C and occasionally GK, Mackenzie brings valuable representative experience to the team, having proudly represented the Northern Territory since 2021.

Since taking up netball at nine years old, Mackenzie has developed her game through hard work, resilience and a willingness to trust herself when the pressure is on.

One piece of advice has stayed with her throughout her netball journey.

"Probably to not overthink, just go out there and play netball."

It's a mindset that continues to guide her approach whenever she steps onto the court.

When asked what advice she would give younger athletes hoping to follow a similar pathway, Mackenzie's focus is on enjoying the experience and making the most of every opportunity.

"My best advice would be not to put pressure on yourself. What happens happens and don't dwell on it. Just enjoy the experience you have and try to learn as much as you can."

Mackenzie credits former coach Sarah Patrick and the PINTS Division 1 team of 2020 as key influences throughout her netball journey, helping shape both the athlete and person she is today.

As she prepares for another opportunity to wear NT colours, Mackenzie continues to demonstrate the value of staying grounded, backing yourself and embracing every opportunity to learn and grow.

MEET THE ATHLETE | HANNA EASTICK

NNT Academy athlete Hanna Eastick will take her place in the 2026 Territory Storm team following several years of representative netball with the Northern Territory.

Standing at 183cm and capable of playing GK, GD and WD, Hanna has represented Netball NT at the National Netball Championships in 2024, 2025 and 2026, continuing to develop her game against some of the country's best emerging talent.

Since taking up netball at around 11 years old, Hanna has built her success on a foundation of commitment, consistency and a willingness to embrace every opportunity.

One piece of advice has stayed with her throughout her journey.

"Back yourself and have a crack."

It is a mindset that continues to guide her as she takes the next step in her representative career with Territory Storm.

For younger athletes hoping to one day represent the Northern Territory, Hanna believes success comes from the work done long before game day.

"It's all about commitment and putting in the hard work. Showing up to trainings and gym sessions and putting in the effort even when no one is watching. A lot of the time discipline is more important than motivation, so push through the hard times."

Hanna knows firsthand that success in representative netball is rarely achieved alone and is quick to acknowledge the people who have helped make her journey possible.

"Without my parents I wouldn't be where I am today. Their support has allowed me to travel and play at a high level."

Inspired by the resilience and defensive presence of Shamera Sterling, Hanna continues to demonstrate the discipline and determination required to compete at the highest level available to Territory athletes.

As she prepares for another opportunity to represent the Northern Territory, Hanna's journey is a reminder that consistent effort, self-belief and the support of those around you can help turn goals into opportunities.

Standing at 167cm and capable of playing WD, WA and C, Kiera has previously represented the Northern Territory, including at the 2024 National Netball Championships.

Since taking up netball at just five years old, Kiera has developed her game through a willingness to learn and embrace new ways of thinking.

One piece of coaching advice in particular has stayed with her throughout her journey.

"A coach gave me an imaginary line to help with my timing as a WA. It was an absolute game-changer for me as a visual learner."

For Kiera, representative netball is about much more than what happens on court.

"Make the most of the experience, not just on the court but off the court. Make lifelong friends on these sorts of trips."

Inspired by the strength and determination of Jessie Laga'aia, Kiera continues to build her game while embracing every opportunity to learn and grow.

Having progressed through representative netball in the Northern Territory, Kiera understands the value of stepping outside her comfort zone, taking on new challenges and making the most of the experiences that come with wearing NT colours.

As she prepares for Territory Storm, Kiera is looking forward to continuing her development while proudly representing the Northern Territory against some of the country's best emerging talent.

That same confidence is something she hopes younger athletes can carry with them as they pursue their own representative goals.

"Play strong, confident and proudly. You are there for a reason."

Behind every athlete is a support network, and for Johanna that starts with her mum, who she credits as her biggest inspiration.

As she prepares to pull on the Territory Storm dress for the first time, Johanna's story is a reminder that confidence comes from trusting yourself, embracing opportunities and taking pride in the journey that got you there.
