Quite often referred to the birth place of champions Combined Districts Kart Club has enjoyed the unique position of owning the current facility since the mid eighties and is regarded as a family friendly club that has generated many champions in other motorsport divisions including the likes of Mark Winterbottom, Ja

mes Courtney and Ryan Briscoe to name just a few. Many National and State Titles have been conducted at our circuit over the past 48 years. CDKC over the years have been innovators in karting promotion with the running in conjunction with the state body many of the popular events karter like to attend. The club promotes all of the Junior classes and was instrumental in the running of the Junior development camps. The club was for many years the host of the National Women only event the Pink Plated Ladies race meeting. This event also supported women’s breast cancer raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for the National Breast Cancer Foundation with Charity Queen’s and Princesses raising funds in their communities and bringing these to the event. The track is located in Oakey Forest Rd Marrangaroo (Lithgow) and is 751m long and has a grid capacity of 32 karts. The circuit was resurfaced in 2018 and is considered one of the best and most tyre friendly circuits in the country. The club successfully applied for a grant to build a new race control tower and Tech and Scrutineering shed these will be completed in 2022. Race meetings are conducted within the KNSW calendar and are generally run once a month. The club also holds signature events like the Clyde Marshall memorial meeting which honor's the previous custodian of the property Clyde Marshall. Practice is available most weekends and also for private practice on other days by arrangement with the club.
