💜🌟FIXTURE START DATE CHANGE🌟💜

🌟 Fixture 1 is now 9 May 2026, and the wash-out round on 12 September 2026 will now be used for the Grand Final date.

🌟 There will still be the full 14 games for the season with a full series final!

🌟 BBQ will now be 22nd August 2026

Winter Stock Now Available! ❄️🏐

Good Sams Netball Club winter items are now available to order, including club jackets and hoodies.

Orders will be open for the next 2 weeks only, so please make sure you place your order as soon as possible.

Manufacturing time is approximately 6 weeks, which means we need orders in now to ensure items arrive in time for June and the colder part of the season. They’re also great for those wet weather game days and trainings.

❗️Here’s a quick guide on how to order through the Netball Connect app:

1. Open the app and press the bottom dots (More) in the bottom right-hand corner.
2. Scroll down and select Shop.
3. In the second drop-down box, type in Good Sam’s Netball Club.
4. Hoodies and Jackets will appear for purchasing.
5. Email [email protected] with the name you would like on the jacket if you chose the option with embroidery.

POSITION SPOTLIGHT: GOAL ATTACK (GA)!

The Goal Attack is a dynamic and versatile player, combining sharp shooting with strong attacking play.

Key Responsibilities:
- Shoot goals alongside the Goal Shooter (GS).
- Drive the ball into the attacking third and circle.
- Create space and opportunities through quick movement.
- Feed the GS and link play with midcourt (WA/C).

Where they can go:
- Centre third
- Attacking third
- Goal circle (to shoot)

Key Skills:
- Accurate shooting (close & mid-range)
- Speed, agility, and strong footwork
- Great timing and spatial awareness
- Strong passing and decision-making under pressure

Good Sams Netball Club is incredibly proud to celebrate Lexi for being selected as a Training Partner for the Sunshine Coast Regional team heading to the State Championships in May 👏

What an outstanding achievement — especially with only 13 players selected from a pool of 70 talented athletes!

A huge shoutout as well to all our Good Sams girls who trialled. You represented the club with pride, determination and skill. To have three players make it through to possibles and probables is something to be so proud of!

What an incredible achievement — we are SO proud of each and every one of you! Your hard work, dedication and love for the game is shining through.

Nothing brings a team together quite like a bit of fun off the court!

Team Swifts all headed off to laser tag for a team bonding session and it was the perfect way to get to know each other, build connections and share plenty of laughs before the season begins.

We’d love to see more of our teams getting together before the season kicks off! Strong teams start with strong connections!
