Unfortunately the committee has made the tough decision to cancel our Campdraft this coming weekend, with the rain received last week and more forecasted this week we are no longer able to truck in our donated cattle.

Whilst we are disappointed, on the bright side we hope everyone gets some rain this week to make it worth it 🌧️

We thank our generous cattle donors and sponsors for their support- we will be back later in the year if conditions allow!!! 🍻

Bauhinia Campdraft

After careful consideration, the Bauhinia Campdraft Association Committee has made the difficult decision to postpone The Whip Campdraft for now, originally scheduled for 1–3 May.

With the current fuel situation creating uncertainty across the state, we have taken into account the broader impact on our community, competitors, and volunteers. Rising costs and increasing pressure on those involved, including the association have made it clear that proceeding at this time is not in the best interests of everyone.

This decision was not made lightly and we share in the disappointment. However, the wellbeing of our community and the sustainability of our event remain our priority. Please be assured we will continue to monitor the situation closely and look forward to announcing new dates when the time is right.

Maranoa MASH Campdraft

❌MASH CHALLENGE & CAMPDRAFT POSTPONED❌

Due to rising costs of fuel and further predicted shortages, the MASH Committee has decided to postpone our April event.

Most importantly, The committee agreed we have a social responsibility to our local business, farmers and freighters, who rely on this fuel for their livelihoods.

Secondly, we are only a small and newly formed committee that are not able to absorb the uncertainty of inflated costs or reduced nominations during the volatile economic conditions.

As a committee we thank all competitors, cattle donor’s, sponsors and committee members for their valued support and understanding. We will look at future dates once the world settles down and the event doesn’t look so cost prohibitive.
