Western Region Volleyball

Western Region Volleyball Michael Dolan, the founder of Western Region Volleyball is the General Manager and organiser of tournaments, as well as the Maribyrnong Volleyball Competition.

Michael is the Director of the Maribyrnong Sports Academy Volleyball Program. For additional information on indoor volleyball events, as well as beach volleyball events, visit the website or contact Michael on 0422 067 458. Sean Dolan is the Coaching Director of the beach and indoor volleyschool programs, as well as the head coach of the indoor program. He is also the assistant competition manager

. Sean is a current Maribyrnong Sports Academy technical coach, as well as a Indoor Volleyball Victoria coach. Indoor Volleyschool training sessions are held at the Maribyrnong Sports Academy Stadium, on Mondays 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm. Tuesday are at Braybrook College (352 Ballarat Road) from 5:00 pm - 10 pm. Beach volleyschool training sessions are held on the Maribyrnong Sports Academy Beach Volleyball Centre, on Sundays 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Contact Sean for additional information about training, and pricing on 0422384022. Joey Yigit is the head coach for the beach volleyschool program. He has also taken up development roles in both the Victorian beach volleyball state team and the Australian national pathway. Joey is also a current Australian Tour beach volleyball player and past junior Australian beach champion. Contact Joey on 0406626681 for additional information on the beach volleyschool program.

Congratulations all our WRV Junior Athletes that were apart of medal winning teams at the Australia Youth Volleyball Championships. We had 6 athletes & 1 coach earn gold medals and one athlete earn a bronze medal. The Under 14 Boys Blue team was the most successful for the club, containing 5 players and 1 Head coach winning gold from the Wolves program. We are very proud and are excited to see further success at the national level for WRV💙🖤🤍
